@@Itscamilleco thank you for the tips and knowledge. I might not able to afford the skincare you're doing but the tips and info's are really helpful. Thank you. Stay well and safe. Edit:btw looking for those skincare prices and KOMBUCHA haha. Never heard it before.
I might be two months late onto watching this video, but thank you so much for sharing your experience. I’m having my worst breakout nowadays and it has started in march due to the ECQ. I thought I was the only one experiencing this but this video and some comments on it made me realize that I was wrong.
I am also a belo patient. I had a bad cystic breakout in 2013 (same like huge, swelling mosquito bites). I think it was because of PCOS and I wasnt compliant with my hormone therapy. I first treated the pimples with OTC/drugstore acne treatments and skincare but they didnt go away. I had to pack my face with thick foundation to cover all the dark spots that didnt seem to go away. It was wrecking my wallet buying all those products and my confidence as well. My friend who was a belo patient told me to see a derma. I was hesistant because I already spent a lot and I knew derma cost more. But when I saw my friend’s glowing skin, I was convinced as she had bad breakout too. And it was one of the best 5000php I spent. After 2 weeks of clinic treatments and changed skincare, I had the best skin ever. I no longer needed to wear foundation. I would love to go to belo again because I am currently breaking out again but I am also based abroad and treatments here are twice or more of the price of belo’s. I miss my belo products and favorite facialist. Before leaving pinas, I had every 1-3mos appointment with their clinic to maintain my skin (I still get 1-2 pimples per month). They have great customer service and I really feel very well taken care of. 💕😊
Omg who’s you’re fave facialist? Aren’t the staff so friendly? Glad you had a good experience with the Belo fam. Cystic acne is the worst. So hard to treat on your own Talaga.
May Flower Hi! My favorites are the tyrosinase inhibitor + age defying cream (they faded my dark marks fast!) and laser cream(great for calming pimple but you cant use it for a long time, probably because of antibiotic). 😊
Camille Co Hi! True, it’s hard to treat cystic acne and they seem to leave the darkest marks on me compared to other pimples. Esp when I cant figure out why this is happening again. I will try eating kimchi! Hehe and Nona is my favorite facialist! She’s based in their BGC branch. I really make time to visit when I go on vacation. Only Nona touches my skin. Haha Have experienced others, but she’s the best for me. 😊
I can so relate with cystic acnes. I finally recovered with mine. I struggled early 2018 up to mid2019. I initially thought it was just a phase. And with my age, way wayyyyyy past puberty. So just like everybody else, different skin care to foundations. It took me a while to find a new dermatologist (my old dermatologist retired😭). Long story short. I had to take antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide-rich facial wash, and topical cream with retinoid. Oh also, my skin got irritated because of my scalp too! Apparently I had dermatitis as well. Had to change my shampoo too! Love love your vlog!! You always give a lot of helpful tips from skin care to organization ideas (room and bathroom tours)... Keep on inspiring lives!😍
Juneta Taneo I initially used Ketoconazole Shampoo 2% 2-3x a week (dermatologist prescribed it)... got my scalp under control (mine was more itching than dandruff)... Made my hair frizzy and dry (like patay na buhok)... Now,I am using Dove Dermacare Scalp... look for the Pyrithione Zinc content:)
Omggg I had a similar issue! I’m prone to cystic acne on my cheeks and along my jawline, but all of a sudden I got a scaly rash on different parts of my face and neck 😢 I was super depressed about it too. It got so bad that I went to a dermatologist and had to get a biopsy done. It’s weird because they don’t really know the cause, they just said it was non-specific hypersensitivity. I had to use a mild steroid cream for awhile. I dealt with it for like 5 months, so I decided to start getting Hydrafacials with LED light treatment. And omg it made such a difference! I don’t get cystic acne as severe as I used to, and it really brightens up the face 😊
Omg I’m always so scared of any creams prescribed to me na steroid based. 5months of using it isn’t bad ba raw? But I’m happy hydrafacial and LED light treatment worked for you. I’m such a believer of light treatments!
@@Itscamilleco The steroid I was prescribed was mild, but it does say I have to take two weeks break in-between use, and only when it flares up. I think I had to use the cream on-and-off for about a month and a half before the rash went away, but the 5 months included the time before I went to the dermatologist lol. I was trying to deal with it on my own 😭
I can really relate, the breakouts I'm currently experiencing right now on my forehead made me wanna stay at home and never go out again and see different people who will most probably just ask "what happened to your face?" like I know all the answers. I've tried different products na din but sadly, na lessen lang sya, it did not fully gave me the wow feeling that my skin is finally returning to normal. Now, I'm waiting for the nearest clinic so I can finally go and let my skin be treated. Thanks Ms. Camille, I think I just needed an assurance that I am not the only one experiencing these nightmares.

Hi if you are treating your face now, you may check out Liah Yoo on youtube. You can check her videos. Before, my pimples would extend down to my neck. Even during first month of ECQ, I was still having breakouts. It was only on April that I started researching on how to treaat my face. It was through Liah Yoo that my face is healed now. I learned to heal both my acnes and the acne marks. Just sharing this as my way of paying forward what helped my skin :) I swear, it's so frustrating to have acne problems 💔
💯 agreeee! I have been experiecing the same problem. And i have been using the same ZO combo packs for 4 yrs now. Siguro around 21-24k but will last until 6-7 mons.
If ever u meet Dra. Belo again, pls do a video abt acne for younger adults. Huhu. I'm 20 yrs. old and I don't think some of the products are for younger ones. I always have these breakouts :((
I think she is not really trying hard to be liked but just really wanted to share what she use. I think she’s more into the quality coz most likely, expensive products are made w/ high value ingredients that are effective rather than buying cheap options that might only provide temporary relief (but this is depending on skin types & im not pointing out all of affordable products are ineffective).

(ps: i stuck with my old derma for 4+ years. HAHAHAHA i believed in my derma so much :( )
This is true too. You really have to have a relationship with your derma. It’s like finding the right partner who understands you. I used to have a derma before, she was the head of a clinic and is quite a decorated doctor. But I felt like she never listens and always belittles my concerns and opinions which in turn, made me feel bad. After maybe 3 sessions with her, I never went back.
I totally agree that diet really affects your skin. I had SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth). I was diagnosed twice for the past 4 years or so. Sometimes you won't notice it because you think the usual issues like gas, acne etc is normal. The doctor told me that sometimes it takes years to find out same with my case till you see that your skin is purging plus your energy goes down.
Hello! I just saw this. I’m not really sure where in Manila since I did the test here in Dubai. I believe its called hydrogen breath test. It’s really worth it. I found my bacterias has been damaging my gut for years since they saw a ridiculous amount of it. According to my doctor, it must been years already and I realised that I had a really really bad stomach flu when I traveled to Turkey 2 years before I had the test.
Been using ZO exfoliating cleanser, toner and oil control pads for 2 weeks now and they’re really amazing! no breakouts so far and my oiliness is also minimized.. pero super pricey nila but yeah it’s worth the money.
8:27 Ohmygoood! I never knew that the itching was actually caused by overusing products. I've always thought that it was just my skin's natural reaction, but then yeah, looking at it, it's really because of overusing!! thanks cams!
She experienced drying or itching of skin I think because of the benzol peroxide based skincare products that she's using since BP is so drying. It is still depends on the products you are using or your skin situation why your skin is itching 😊

Last time kc I was new to yoga then I had it and then now I’m back to exercising then cystic acne came again though same tayo I never had cystic acne skin conditions only twice lang and it’s a nightmare na it’s back huhu
Hi Ms. Camille, please try the Food Intolerance Test. It was very effective for me. The test results will tell you what food to avoid and what you can eat. I hope you give this a try. It really saved me from the trial and error process in clearing up my acne ❤️
Did you check your diet? The food you eat that may be triggering this? Have you also checked if you have hormonal imbalance? Please seek help from a professional. It’s never too late! You can always cure it. Don’t lose hope. ❤️
@@Itscamilleco hi miss cam, I am kinda hesitant to go to the doctor, because my friends have been there and not cured. Omg we are the same! Last year I had cystic acne and it was all healed and now it’s back again :( I had PCOS as per my Gyne. So I think baka PCOS din yun sayo? Huhu :(
Mica Lim I did a test for PCOS eh. No naman
Camille Co I see, that’s good you don’t have it ate cams. But I also wonder why cystic acne maybe are causes of exercises din? Last time kc I was new to yoga then I had it and then now I’m back to exercising then cystic acne came again though same tayo I never had cystic acne skin conditions only twice lang and it’s a nightmare na it’s back huhu
I mean sweats from exercising that’s why we have to make our face clean after working out

Hi Cam :)
Hi!!!
14:13 Maybe you can try Food Intolerance Test! 😉
Hi Ms. Camille, please try the Food Intolerance Test. It was very effective for me. The test results will tell you what food to avoid and what you can eat. I hope you give this a try. It really saved me from the trial and error process in clearing up my acne ❤️
@@yannatividad how was it done?
Yeah I should :(
I will! So scared to get even more food banned from my diet huhuuu
@@yannatividad is it like an allergy test? Is it painful?
me? 3 years :(
Did you check your diet? The food you eat that may be triggering this? Have you also checked if you have hormonal imbalance? Please seek help from a professional. It’s never too late! You can always cure it. Don’t lose hope. ❤️
@@Itscamilleco hi miss cam, I am kinda hesitant to go to the doctor, because my friends have been there and not cured. I am trying to be mindful with my diet, my ate and papa is also acne-prone, that is why i am trying to accept that this is my fate huhu. But nowadays, my acne have subsided when I used green tea facial wash, but acne scars are still there, box scars specifically :(
Many lumps showing when period is approaching.
