HOW TO TOUR INDIA! Watch my small group tour of Northern India (inc. the Golden Temple, Amritsar)

- Come along with me as I travel through the beautiful Punjab and Himalayas of North India.
I travelled to Northern India on a small group escorted tour with the tour operator Jules Verne. I picked the Sikhs and Exiles tour which starts in Amritsar in the Punjab before heading to the Himalayas where you visit the hill station of Shimla as well as the Dalai Lama's exile town of Dharamshala and stay in a mountain retreat. Then we took a train to Delhi (New Delhi) where we spent an amazing couple of nights and a great day exploring the city's Mughal architecture, riding rickshaws, learning the Indian art of paper cutting and making perfume. Oh, and did I mention the Indian food as well as the amazing Golden Temple in Amritsar?! This video shows why you should travel to India on a small group escorted tour - I particularly enjoyed mine with Jules Verne (and thought it was very good value) but there are plenty of other tour operators out there offering the same thing.
This is an AMAZING adventure / holiday and we stayed in some fabulous hotels - all featured in the video. Also in the film are lots of cute monkeys and yummy food! We even visited a tea plantation...there were so many incredible things we saw and did...

Hey Joe, you should have up-to-date tetanus and typhoid shots (and I think maybe hepatitis) before traveling there, but I didn't get my typhoid because I wasn't well enough before traveling due to an allergy to something else and I was just careful...that's all you need for India
