    oh wow. You know how many times I've moved views 'one by one' across GAs. haha Every time I mumble to myself "Why can't Tekla figure out a way where I can do these all at once". Great tip!

    Hello Dave, thaks again for your great videos. When you make a section and then moves sectionview to another sheet a reference mark appears next to the section symbol, so it shows user on which sheet this section view is located. How can I edit this reference mark (letter font, color etc)? A can I edit it at all?

    Hello, is it possible to get user-parameter from inside a component into a template? With other words, I need to show in a specification some values of a custom component. This custom component is a seem-type component that builds up complete truss assembly, this truss assembly must be shown in a trusses specification, and in that specification I need to show some user-defined values that I put via component window.

    The reason for using multi drawing especially for single-parts is to save "paper", so copy with layout is wrong. If pcs is indicated on the the copied layout and number of part changes for some reason you will have to revise the huge multi drawing also. But if you did not copy the layout only the content you have to revise the part list only.

    • @TrimbleTeklaDave
      @TrimbleTeklaDave 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      One of the main reasons we promote using the 'with layout' option is so that the detailer can have custom tables/templates included with the single part view. If you only copy views, the text display below the part is rather limited. Regardless it should be the same amount of printed paper in the end - only the multidrawing matters.

    Single parts and assembly drawings out of the box settings
    The dimension colour is Green how you do change it to black, so it does it automatically when you
    Run the drawing process

    • @TrimbleTeklaDave
      @TrimbleTeklaDave 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, they still print black, and you control printed line weight through the color of the drawing objects in the print settings. However you can change the drawing properties under the 'part' button. There you can set whatever you want the color to be. Just save the drawing settings when you have it the way you want.

      @@TrimbleTeklaDave I can do that but you have to do it individually for each drawing

    Lets say you have 2 GA drawings E1 and E2 for example and one plan view with section A-A on each sheet. If you move plan view and section A-A from E1 to E2 then you will have two plan views and 2 sections A-A on drawing sheet E2. Now lets move section A-A back to E1 where its originated from and see what happens with section A-A on E2! You may fix this oldster issue #127*** in 2020, did you?

      The automatic renaming of section views is still something that could be handled better.
