I’ve started doing it too! It actually works wonders to help put things into perspective at times when my anxiety makes things to be way bigger than they are.
Channa, coffee mugs, dish towels, aprons, pillows, t-shirts, bumper stickers, refer magnets, caps, back packs, etc. etc. that say "But, that's okay." Make it a thing.
Even with spit up on your shoulder you are simply radiant, as always! Even without seeing Baby Firefly's face, we probably get to see more of him than we normally would. I just love the back of his little head and his ears!

I really love how it is customary to celebrate having learned something new about your religion. In general I feel Judaism celebrates and encourages learning a lot. So your homeschooling fits right in. I wish we would celebrate learning like this in every aspect of life!

My sister has five grandchildren in public school right now and sadly the last 2 years have not been good for the education system. I really enjoy your videos. I started watching you back last fall and have learned so much more about the Jewish religion than I knew before. I grew up in the 50s in Atlanta and had school friends who were Jewish. The the mothers kitchens always fascinated me because I had two of everything it seemed like. Thanks to you, I now know why my best friend Rita's mother had a wig room. She usually had scarves on when I was at the house but I never realized the significance of covering her hair. By the way, I am really glad to see that you and baby Firefly have done so well this past month. I am a retired nurse practitioner and I know all kinds of things that could have gone wrong and didn't. You and your husband are great parents and may God continue to bless you and yours.

Yup. Its all good. I raised 7 dont know how I did it but homeschooled a few of them too. Some special needs some adopted and well, they are all grown now. It was almost a blurr. Moms just do it! Love my kids.

So cute when one of the children was worrying about the treats being there. I hope all went well and you had a great Shabbat! I just also wanted to say your children are blessed to have the curriculum that you provide. My granddaughters are in middle school and high school. They’re not learning but I’m not the parent. I believe children thrive with individual attention for the learning.

On the subject of home schooling, I think it’s commendable that you’ve taken on educating your lovely children at home. As a teacher of many, many years I think you are doing an admirable job and seem to cover most of the recognised curriculum . I’m just wondering about the socialisation aspect that children learn by mixing with other children in a classroom environment…I’m sure you’ve considered that issue alongside participating in team games, sports activities and school concerts and I’m sure you’ll be covering that in your own way. Your little baby is totally gorgeous and it’s really interesting how things have changed from my generation when we wouldn’t have dreamt of walking around with our babies while we did other things !!! When they were awake we fed them , changed their diaper and either took them out for a walk, put them in their pram in the garden where they would instantly fall asleep again or take them shopping!!!!!! I admire your ability to run the household with a baby strapped around you!!!! I was brought up in the traditionally orthodox synagogue but for many years I have been an active member of a Reform community. Shabbat Shalom.

@@jaroffireflies thank you, it was a bladder infection that thought it would live with me. Lol only 2 trips to the doctor, it’s gone. You know I’m sick when I don’t even look at my I pad. I got a new book and could not concentrate. I’m all better now. Thanks for thinking of me. Baby firefly will soon be baby dragon fly. They are so beautiful, I think they are migrating now we had at least 50 hanging over the pool. The kids across the street were yelling “it stung me” we were laughing, they don’t sting. I guess they like pool water.

I would never give up my 19 years of home education! I commend you for choosing to love your family this way. I been homeschooling my daughter for several years now she is 8 I had her in Kubrick for pre k and kindergarten but because of us being military and wanting structure for her we went the home route and will never go back 🥰🙌

Such is the life with a baby! I remember those days well, even though my baby turns 34 in two weeks, and has two babies of his own.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos, very inspiring ! On the subject of home schooling, I think it’s commendable that you’ve taken on educating your lovely children at home. As a teacher of many, many years I think you are doing an admirable job and seem to cover most of the recognised curriculum . I’m just wondering about the socialisation aspect that children learn by mixing with other children in a classroom environment…I’m sure you’ve considered that issue alongside participating in team games, sports activities and school concerts and I’m sure you’ll be covering that in your own way.
Your little baby is totally gorgeous and it’s really interesting how things have changed from my generation when we wouldn’t have dreamt of walking around with our babies while we did other things !!! When they were awake we fed them , changed their diaper and either took them out for a walk, put them in their pram in the garden where they would instantly fall asleep again or take them shopping!!!!!!
I admire your ability to run the household with a baby strapped around you!!!!
I was brought up in the traditionally orthodox synagogue but for many years I have been an active member of a Reform community.

Don’t worry, your doing great and more than me. Had groceries delivered and sorting rebates out on various products. Been to town and had breakfast out and later a kids meal from McDonald’s. It’s bank holiday here today and my health is all over the place. I need sleep and pain to go away too. Enjoy your week and I hope baby firefly is sleeping better etc.

@@jaroffireflies thank you, it was a bladder infection that thought it would live with me. Lol only 2 trips to the doctor, it’s gone. You know I’m sick when I don’t even look at my I pad. I got a new book and could not concentrate. I’m all better now. Thanks for thinking of me. Baby firefly will soon be baby dragon fly. They are so beautiful, I think they are migrating now we had at least 50 hanging over the pool. The kids across the street were yelling “it stung me” we were laughing, they don’t sting. I guess they like pool water.
Hey Chana, I haven't been getting notifications for your videos lately and with things being a bit crazy at work (& it being waaaaay too hot for my brain to function ;) ) I sometimes forget to check for thet so I'm a bit behind. I would never give up my 19 years of home education! I commend you for choosing to love your family this way. Not only did my children get the best education, I was able to incorporate God’s precious Word in that education. In the end, nothing else really matters! I pray many blessings over your family!❤️

I been homeschooling my daughter for several years now she is 8 I had her in Kubrick for pre k and kindergarten but because of us being military and wanting structure for her we went the home route and will never go back 🥰🙌
Once again I am enjoying your video so much. I love the laundry cart excitement. Anything in wheels is a hit and…who knows, a little extra driving experience. Another win at Costco.
I went back this morning and got another for myself lol Because I’m usually holding a baby, it’s much easier to roll the laundry then carry it 😂
I made chocolate-dipped Oreos last year and I was pretty surprised by how easy it was! I'll make many more this year to give as teacher gifts around the holidays.
