Ther are 19,846 filipinos living in Ireland. They get to work they get to buy land and or buy a house here and countless other privileges. Now there are 364 irish living in the Philippines. They do not get the right to work or buy land or a house. Even if they are married and have kids with a filipino citizen. Single Irish people who wish to live in the Philippine have to pay for a visa to stay every month. Yet filipino don't have to pay this to stay in Ireland. The Philippines is a absolutely beautiful country the people of the Philippines are hard working well educated friendly people. But they have to see the double standards going on between the two countries is clearly unfair. Ireland has many charitys that send money and clothes to the Philippines. Is it too much to ask for the same respect in return as filipinos receive here?
@@kevinkeating9090 sorry to hear this, I actually don’t know what to reply to you? ireland has been very good to us filipinos and I wish out government does the same to Irish who is wants to settle in our country.
@BoyetVentura I wish they would too, but they don't. Yous are clearly getting a better deal. The trouble with Ireland is so many other countries take advantage of our good nature and never return that gesture. Irish aren't like that. Look into the history between Ireland and the native Americans. Its the filipinos themselves who can change this disparity between our two countries and make it more fair. But it's an absolute guarantee they won't do an thing and just continue to use the irish and our country to better themselves. Shame on yous really.
I can only speak for myself as a single Filipino working in Ireland. During my first two years of living here, I had to pay €300 yearly for my permit to stay then €300 every 2-year for same. I also had to pay tax as a normal citizen of IE. The privileges comes with responsibility as well. Nothing is free brother.
@mkatyum3031 nothing is free anywhere. But at least you have the benefit to work here. I don't get that in the Philippines. And it's €600 a year for my visa in the Philippines every year. Plus even after paying your tax here you still make 100 times more than you would in the Philippines.
@@kevinkeating9090 I have the advantage of working in Ireland because of my profession and credentials. Ireland is inadequate of nurses, accountants, and etc to keep the country going, thus we are given some ‘benefits’ as you would say (which is unlikely in the Philippines and unfortunately may affected your case). To comprehend the difference, you have to learn the economic and political system of both countries. All the best to you.

Iba sa mga colleagues ko dito sa middle east lumipat sa Ireland as an aircraft maintenance engineers . Kaso aobra lamig daw dyan.
