This demonstrates just how good an artist "MakMark" truly is. I saw the thumbnail and wondered, "Why do I NOT instantly loathe Odalia as presented here than I normally do?" Then to discover this is actually meant to be her actor, not the character! It has to be the ever so subtle difference in her eyes and expression that hinted something was different in this circumstance. Plus, it's wild to learn she's married to the actor for Belos! I thought that was just made up for this strip until I read the comments.
I had to rewatch to see the cute lumity stuff in the background But yeah, some of my favorite characters are the most hateable ones. It's easy to make a character lovable. It's easy to make a character hateable on accident. But making a character hateable on purpose? That takes skill (and courage, if you're the actor/actress)
