Recently a friend of mine started to DM for D&D and I decided to give it a shot, pretty much solely because he was trying it and I wanted to help him out.
Many weeks later I impatiently await every following D&D night because hot damn is it actually really great. So this video was inevitable.

I ran the "Eye of Lephantis" campaign once. Our poison mistress dissolved a giant tree root that was holding down an eidolon and the party god wiped, good times.
I remember that campaign! I was Gara the Radiant, Shining Knight of the Glass Goddess! She was best friends with the poison mistress, good times. 💙

My first D&D game was yesterday. And I am amazed how similar things went. This almost seems a representation of what happen with me. One guy rolled 20 twice, we stole everything useless after killing monsters. And we even made our enemies explode.
I just had a d&d session an I feel Loki so much. I rolled an attack roll and got a natural 1, but then I remembered that the guy was prone so I had advantage *rolls again* *another natural 1*
At least you didn't accidentally miss a monster you were trying to save a man from and then kill the very man you were trying to save with a crossbow bolt.
This is why we don't let the cleric snipe anymore
Omni Voice There was this one time where there were a bunch of Statues in a garden that turned out to be gargoyles, but then our party member's first reaction to them, was to attempt to flirt with them. They attacked.

Sangiin I was once playing a wizard and the party was in an area that had wild magic. The DC for resisting the wild magic surges was pretty low so I figured it wouldn't be a problem if I tried to cast Banishment on the enemy. I rolled a nat 1 on the wild magic, so my spell reflected back at me. I rolled a charisma saving throw with advantage _(my character was a Gnome so he had magic resistance)_ to avoid being banished: *Double nat 1.* The bard of our party realized what was about to happen and tried to cast a counterspell: He rolls a 2 on the spell and a nat 1 on wild magic, *so he also gets hit with the banishment and gets a 5 on his save.* We both ended up banished to the astral plane and were never seen again.
This is why you don't bring a wizard to wild magic zones
I was DMing a game where the PCs, a human monk and a half-orc fighter, were attempting to crack a safethey found under the floorboards of a hidden room in the big bad’s mansion. When they found out that all the drawers in all the cabinets in the room were magically trapped, they set up all the furniture with rope so that they would open all the drawers at once and blow the safe open. They pull the rope and the orc failed the roll trying to escape and got both her legs blown off. She survived, but now everyone calls her “quarter-orc”
My ongoing DnD session has one hilarious and sometimes awkward coincidence. Every time there's a locked door, or even just a closed one sometimes, if our DM asks for us to roll, we roll a 20. Usually we've opted to force these doors. A lot of doorways are now just open passageways with hinges. Side note, I have Rhino's RNG except when it comes to medicine, where I have Loki's RNG.

Considering Gara is technically the destroyer of worlds with her unlimited damage scaling I'd imagine her more as a sassy tsundere

You almost nailed everything. Only problems I have are aloowing critical success on skillcheck (or then the dark lord had crappy save himself) and allowing rhinos char that much power.

What amuses me, is that on monday, in a Tabletop session, my character actually shattered the magical source of a big bad's power... and caused an explosion that nearly killed the whole party.
I'm sure 100% of your viewers want a sequel. And for good reason too, this is amazing

If you look very closely, the sentient model looks like an 'A'. this is in fact a subtle reference to the title of the video where the '&' sign means 'and' which begins with an 'A'. Therefore putting a sentient as the '&'/'and' is a very genius idea!
