From my experience working as 9 years Oracle PLSQL developer I can 100% suggest, do not go for plsql/oracle developer just because it's not at all future demand.. Go for java Or any other in demand skillset..This is in terms of all perspective- technical growth, salary growth, career opportunities

With Only sql and plsql you may not get job.. But using sql and plsql U can learn ORACLE apps technical like ERP tools (HRMS, HCM, CRM, SCM) etc. Then You can get a job with higher Salary.

Yes, U can learn sql and plsql.. But U should know something about database terms like Normalization, Transaction management, Data independence, Scheema design etc.

@@ooptimisticc currently oracle cloud is in demand and no other database in the current world can compare oracle thats why other dbs are free cause they dont have the feature which oracle can provide. I think it has a future orcl share price is also on increase
