Wow. Absolutely beautiful. Now if someone can do a Hobart scenery that would be the icing on the cake. Just imagine flying in a helicopter over an “updated” Tasmania in Msfs. That would be something. Nice showcase Kiwi.
The choppers at Cambridge were possibly the search and rescue ones for southern Tas. I believe Cambridge was the old Hobart airport, before hopping the road to the current site as aircraft got larger and needed more runway. Hobart doesn't exactly have a large amount of flat areas to choose from.
Great review for a great new scenery and am definitely getting both of these airports, what a fantastic location to start exploring Tasmania from. I am a little intrigued though as to why the purchase currency is only in Euros, I much rather prefer to pay in Aussie dollars..do you have any idea as to why this is the case? Cheers
Same here, I grew up in 7 Mile Beach so I know the airport area really well, we used to make cubby's/forts in the pine trees you can see, there was a lot more before they changed the road this is now the next add-on on my list!
Glad you mentioned those stutters, its done a number on my performance but only in certain locations - Hobart being one of them, default scenery is the same and even turning down graphics doesn't work. That said your getting better performance than I do here, a few stutters but mine are so bad. Great video, also had the pleasure of doing videos for both airports, NZA are epic! Lovely guys working there.
Cool, MS are aware of performance issues after the last patch. Your link is incorrect and fixing it doesn't seem to work, will check them out later. Devs worth getting behind I think ...

I am from Hobart and I will be getting this. It looks exactly like the real thing. Well done devs and thx Kiwi for the vid.
Nice! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment Betty :)
We have veolia in Western Australia too. Good to see them representing so many businesses accurately. Especially the local flight companies.
Really great scenery, I especially liked the comparison with the default scenery!
Cheers Ronald!

good stuff
I don't think I'd buy scenery as I don't go back to the same place often, but if you're the sort to have a "home base", this is awesome
Living in Hobart makes me want to get this terribly, super close to reality.
Great to hear, thanks for watching :)

Yeah those stutters are so annoying - particularly because I didn't have them before. Agreed NZA have done an amazing job - appreciate you watching :)
