From what I got to play today, MNM is doing everything right. The sound design, spell animations, character identity, and overall ambience blew me away. Keep it up.
Haven't seen this game till today, but the graphics are itching a specific spot in my brain. I await when the streamers blow it up on a launch due to the mmo revival scene happening. 🐢
Thoroughly enjoyed today's stress test. I played a dwarf paladin and my kids played an elf druid and an ogre beastmaster. We only had an hour to play, as our schedule was busy, but we got to level 2 almost 3 just killing the mobs outside north gate. We were able to mem spells without lag and turn in our newbie notes to complete those quests. Great work on the servers. They felt better than they have on previous stress tests. Looking forward to the next journey. Keep up the good work everyone.
The stress test was so fun!! I think the only bug that I saw happen multiple times was when changing zones, saw it happen with multiple group members and myself but it was mostly just zoning from the west gate area to the wyrmbane zone
This is a game and a world I'd love to explore! Only thing that makes me go hmm maybe not for me is the combat - clicking an enemy once until it dies is not very engaging. Id love for it to be more dynamic. Give it a thought
Most classes should have some abilities you can leverage even early on. That increases the number of choices you can make during combat. But yeah, overall the combat will be slower, more tactical, and less twitchy. Feel free to hit us up more in Discord with your thoughts.
Remember that the term dynamic doesn't actually have any specific content, it doesn't actually mean anything specific. For example it doesn't mean more action-packed, or more tactical. Secondly, these games get more complicated as they go, and so you will be weighing more tactical or efficiency type decisions the higher level you are. But typically the APM stays the same, it's not fortnite or whatever.
@@HallyVee My original response to M&M's comment seems to not have been saved but here is a summary: I totally get the vibe they are going for and really like it! I myself prefer slow paced progression and systems as these make games feel much more rewarding to me - so I am not necessarily a fan of twitchy. That being said I do think that clicking on an enemy, in theory being able to win every battle by just clicking your left mouse button and chugging a potion to heal, is not very engaging. I propose a simple telegraphing system akin to what the game WildStar offered - not much changes except now you actually get to plan your next move. I think telegraphing is a great opportunity to add a neat challenge to each enemy encounter. The combat difficulty scales organically in this way too: The more enemies you fight at once, the more challenging and engaging combat gets. My two cents!

We have a fix for that, but it didn't make it into this stress test's build. Hopefully, it'll be better next time.
Yay!!!!!

This reminds me of one of the areas outside of one of the cities in EQ I played in in the 1990's
Freeport or Oasis 😂🎉
can we try it out? is there tests going at some intervals ?
game looks awesome
We've been running periodic tests. Expect more this year before Early Access in 2026.
@@MonstersMemories is this going be a no map, no minimap, no quest trackers, aka ultra old school like pantheon?
So compared to the obvious Pantheon, this one looks to try and emulate original EQ even moreso it looks like.
EQ is a great foundation. We wanted to take a lot of those systems further, while adding concepts that compliment them.
