If I had a nickel for every time the Holy Grail walks into this place I'd be Rick.
Omega lol
Or rich which is pretty much the same, how curious isn't it?
Hahaha
Please stop with the clickbait titles. The title makes it seem like it’s real .
Jesus didn't expect to see you here
Awwww you sad?
Glad to see you're a fan of Pawn Stars, I'm a huge fan of your GTA videos bro :D
I don’t mind the “clickbait titles”. It makes it suspenseful. You don’t know if it’s real or not.
Woah, I didn’t expect to see you here. And you’re right as always Pro, I hate when they do those clickbait titles.
this is the HOLY GRAIL of fake Colt Pattersons
😆😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
I feel bad for that "gucci" seller though
Exactly. what a misleading title
😄
now that was funny☺️
Pawn stars titles are beginning to look like what a desperate for views teen would use.
Or the History channel just wants the usual Pawn Stars comments and thats the best they can do.
Rick harrison tryna squeeze money out of TH-cam too
@@ifyoureplytomeyouregay4293 he will have to frame it and pay one of his employees commission.
@@daBEAGLE1017 it'll sit in one of youtube servers for years and years to come until it can generate some money.
Lol what you talking about Vice News, TYT, Phile Defranco, and countless other news channels use clickbait all the time.
Owner: up to 4k
Rick: best I can do is nothing
Also rick: I'm taking all the risk here
He is set with the screws 😂
“I would of loved to have given you 50k for it”
If it was real he would have lowballed him so bad 😂
Best I can do is .75 cents and I’m taking a hugeeee risk I have to frame it and it might sit for 30 years.
It's funny the guy was asking 100k
I feel sorry for the old guy..😢😥😭 On the bright side he can rent a nice hotel room for a month close to his son's house..😂😢😥😭
It saddens me as well, I hate when this type of activity occurs. People really need to know what they are buying now of days.
Me too. He was so sad it didn't turn out to be true 😢
@@supportyourtroopsathletes6460 everything about risk, regardless it’s hard to determine if it’s real or not based off your knowledge
Jackie, his son probably wouldn't appreciate the company.
hahaha
Don't come to California old guy. Trust me I'm trying to get out
Exactly my thoughts. I was searching for this comment xD
Bruh trust me, I live in New York so I know that feeling.
Im thinking about moving to California from the UK, would you advise me not to?
@@ashkanparsa1548 don't do it. Not worth it anymore.
@@ashkanparsa1548 I live in Massachusetts....cross it right off your list too!
The Wilson character who wrote that reference book was a criminal fraud. What he did to the factory reference collection donated by Colt for generations to come is unforgivable.
Click bait title.
All the experts who come into the shop should open up a Pawnshop together and call 📞 it Pawn “ we don’t need to call anyone “Expert shop.
The problem I have with the Expert is his use of another
" Experts " book as a reference. The modern screw claim is another problem.
That point of his is indeed rediculous. Original Colts of around that period have went up for auction that were still new and virtually unused. The screws are just as sharp and perfect as any modern screw you will ever find. That "expert" has been since dropped by Rick and it is easy to see why.
That could very well be the real thing.
Michael really seems like a good old man ❤
Rick and the phrase “holy grail” got along famously
Old man got scammed! Some people have no soul, especially ones on TV
“Conquer the last of the Wild West”. LOL.
First mistake, telling Rick what he paid for it.. second mistake is having Rick's experts appraise it..
Third mistake, the book was by RL wilson
Rick: "That's REALLY REALLY COOL 😎"
Also Rick: This is NOT REAL!
I feel bad for that "gucci" 🙄😔😩
Never tell anybody in a negotiation what you paid for something. It can only be used against you. You’re trying to sell an item for $100k, why tell you only paid a 4% of your asking price? Didn’t matter here but you’re showing your hand before there’s any money in the pot.
doesn't fix a fake.
Enter Sir Galahad "You are the keepers of the Holy Grail" Rick " Oh, wicked, bad, naughty Chumlee! he has been setting alight to our beacon, which, I have just remembered, is grail-shaped. It's not the first time we've had this problem". Sir Galahad "It's not the real Grail?" Rick "Oh, wicked, bad, naughty, evil Chumlee! he is a bad person and must pay the penalty! Do you think this scene should have been cut? We were so worried when the guys were writing it, but now, we're glad. It's better than some of the previous scenes, I think".
If it is a prototype, doesn't that mean it might not match a production model in that book? Hence prototype
👍
Rick wasn’t gonna offer 50k anyway if it was real. More like 10k because it’s gonna sit for a long long time.
As soon as he said he wants to buy a house closer to his son and his asking 100k I knew something was up lol
Never seen a professional pull out a book ...
1:17 Change those glasses Rick.
Mr. Brown and Colt Paterson were prototypes famously.
$4k down the drain baby!
Making business.. F in the chat
@rubbingisracing true
Even thought that was a reckless buy from him, I still feel bit sad for him, but that’s just me
Never tell slick Rick how much you paid for something!
A prototype would not be in that book.
Not even a sign of Rebecca lately. Keep playing with my emotions
Right on! I'm showing up w a phone book just to fantasize
Sorry guys, she's spending a lot of time at my place. I'll let her know her fans are missing her, so she might pop over to Vegas again soon.
😂😂

Expert comes in and use a picture book to compare. "Expert" lol...i can do the same thing.
Using the book of a convicted criminal (fraud in firearm sale)
There's no way that 'expert' just compared an actual Colt Paterson to a book trying to trace it out, he's clueless.
If you read the title of the video, skip to the end.
That is Pawn Stars. All of their videos. Click bait.
It's fake.
I was expecting Craig..
Frankly, the Harrison family is smart in what they do but it also chases away most experts over time also. The Harrison's do not pay the experts but the experts benefit sometimes being that their buisness is promoted in exchange. They call in experts to determine the products yes but they buy the products for nearly half knowing many of these products would sell themselves to the experts without even going to the open market. So it is a quick flip for the store itself. Some experts caught on to this and give a lower evaluation knowing the products will be offered to them first. Craig himself fell to this a few times himself so I expect him to over all be short lived to where the store is concerned. Rick never really treated the experts fairly like Craig at all but Craig's buisness practices were not always honorable either from stories I have read about him but putting them side by side, Craig is much more honorable to deal with in buisness than the harrisons. The experts promotion experience for themselves is not on the same level either. But the Harrison's would not be if they did not have the shows backing either.
2:27 that’s a very specific date😂😂😂
Because anything made after 1898 is not considered an antique firearm, and is also illegal to own without license and stuff
@@DennisHeikki cool👍🏻
@@DennisHeikki You can own without a license. But you cant buy as a store without a license. I can go buy one today at a store and only take my drivers license.
@@ridgerunner106 oh alright, thx for the clarification

Rick's Rolex OMG..😘
When Rick calls something the holy grail you know things are about to get real
Except it wasn’t.
This dude was obsessed with screws
But what about those 2 screws?
But the position of the screws!!! lol.
Never ever tell buyer what u paid! Than if u said 4k and appraised higher than they will say u only paid 4k and will give u 5 or 6k...whatever price may be.
Dang it. I forgot spoiler alert in the comments. Lol. I was only 2 min in and mistakenly went to the comments.
So if a prototype firearm is produced. Why would you only compare it to pictures of other prototypes. Prototypes will have constant changes until a final product is in production and even then changes will will take place. I see a rush to judgement. Not all Patersons are exactly the same.
well said ! ... and the marks on the barrel looks good too !
Expert needs a book to authenticate... lol🤣🤣
To bad its a fake. Was fun to watch. Great video
He wasn't going to give him 50k for that..
Oldie was high on coke
Rick‘s always high on lowballing...
Poor guy
The guy saying he just wants to move closer to his son every time I see this clip breaks my heart.
Dude, you could bring a loaded AR-15 into that place and they wont take ANY precaution.
I don't trust that "expert." Something unsettling about him.
The position of the screws, nothing else matters
“Conquer the last remaining sections of the Wild West” also referred to as the extermination of Native Americans.
I Think that is a COLT, Vary early Design,
That engraving on the barrel was Deep,
there is no reason to Fake that back then.
wondering also ! a lost screw and more material at some points and diffrent shape on grip is no clue for a fake, imho
👍engraving on the barrel looks total authentic 4 me !
The pop-up said that they were Volver originally cost $50 which is $1000 in today’s money. If we are going back to the 1830s I think the inflation factor would be considerably more than a 20 fold factor. I’m not an economist, but I think a factor of at least 50 would be more realistic.
"I told myself, don't get overly enthused about it, it may be a fake.... " then I rushed to put $4000 on it.... gotta love those suckers...
2:01 nice soundstage
So sad this man paid $4000 for a fake. His expression says it all.
For you others getting this in your feeds because of the algorithm, here’s a joke.
God made all men. Samuel Colt made them all equal.
Prob real but Rick didn't want to pay what was really worth
I really wanted this to be real for him. Seems like a nice lad
How can this guy just be disappointed, he’s out 4 Grand!!!
anyone recognize that from supernatural??
Sometimes I wonder if those titles were written by rick himself
They have to stop with the clickbait
This should be a warning because it's not the first time I've seen this. Don't buy antiques on an online auction.
Lesson learned. To think an auction house hadn't one their homework before they sold it is kinda a pipe dream. Sorry the dude got taken.
so true
there are more holy grails on Pawn Stars than there is in Jerusalem
I’m waiting for Rick to get the Holy Grail of Holy Grails
Yeah but those two screws.....
Some expert he had to use a book.
That nra ad though 😅🤣
he is firm that the colt paterson is a prototype from the location of its screws is like saying that the first underwear made and worn by an ancient Egyptian is based on the smell of it.
What bothers me personally is when people lie to create fakes out there selling them as the real deals but then there are the scammers that buy fakes while knowing all along they have fakes selling them as the real deal as well. Either way, it destroys the sellers reputation over time in buisness and with the internet the way word gets out now of course, it's not worth doing that at all for any reptable buisness but it saddens me knowing how many people get scammed in the process also for that "get rich quick" buisness practices also. Rick was right for rejecting it but the buyer may want to seek to have such sellers arrested fraudulent products after losing so much money and possibly civil lawsuits also. It is not like a 10 or 20 dollar item he purchased so extreme steps may be needed in a attempt to recover some of the loss.
Called in an expert just for them to use a book?
all it takes to be an expert is to call yourself an expert
I have a rough diamond of more than 2000 Ct I am looking for a good buyer. I live in Connecticut (US)
Yeah, and I have a 1 1/2 carat Bogota Emerald that is flawless.
It is far, far rarer than a 2000 carat diamond.
What color is your stone ?
Best I can do is $50, and I'm taking a huge risk with that. It's not even framed.
@@marcosvalencia8722 I understand that emeralds. be beautiful but today it is known that they are wonderful and I do not doubt it. you just have to know. In North America until today a diamond of such greatness had not been found, which will go down in the history of this country as the largest diamond found in the United States and that is indisputable
Bad idea don’t move to California
I'd take a second opinion, this guy doesn't sound convincing.
Agreed. He also bought it at an auction. Something off about it.
One of those one in one thousand Remington rifles would be cool.
There are so many holy grails out there I’m beginning to think they aren’t that rare
Well then maybe he shouldn’t be purchasing that online😂
Considering his age compare to yours. Do you expect older people to know more about the internet than your generation where you already both in the era with internet and modern technology compare to his years.
@@coffeelink943 tbh nowadays it doesn’t matter how old you are. You NEED to have basic knowledge of the internet and from life experience alone you should know that some things are too good to be true. If i have over 50years of life experience and cannot even discern a Fraud, online or real life, its all on me.
What, whuuut? He paid 4k for a fake? Doesn't bode well for the reputation of the auction house he claims to have bought it from.
Who creates these titles? Does he watches the episodes? LOL!
Prototype sounds so much better than fake
Poor guy lost $4k
Poor guy.
New pawn stars, I’m trying to sell my kidney how much could you offer, my lowest is £2,50
what i don't like about the script, is there is no follow-up.
Did he actually think that he would get sent a prototype cult from a site online for 4 grand? SMFH
RARE rock is the HOLY GRAIL for rock collectors
Expert reminds me of Rick Moranis brother
Guy wants to buy a house in California? He's insane.
Yeah ist great
Bruh how many reposts can you make
It should say "CZ Patterson" pistol now.
I sure hope he tucked that thing away prior to exiting the shop...
Bye bye grandpa. Those two screws screwed you up!!!!
But The Screws Man
Person: I have a heart attack please call 911
Rick harrison: Best I can do is 9
So it's not even a colt Paterson let alone a colt prototype.
