Korean/Kpop singing prowess is different from Pinoy singers (this is in general) as the former is trained in technique, control and if paired with talent really shines, having power is much rarer than Pinoys; the latter is normally blessed with a powerful voice and talent, and if trained well also really shines.
Why people are suddenly making a big deal about their age as if kpop idols doesn't start their trainings from 7-12 yrs old and debut from 13-17 years old? It's not their fault that at such a young age they already has a great amount of skills and talents. And that's their dream..their goal..
Actually its a norm To debut as young as 14-15…..Heck Boa made her debut in early 2000’s at 13 (she’s the youngest as far as I know)/ F(x) Krystal at 14, Taemin from Shinee 14, Hyuna 14yrs, Sohee from Wonder Girls 14yrs, Bigbang Seungri 15, Jisung NCT 14 yrs….BTS Jungkook 15 almost 16 when he debuted….people making an issue of this now when it’s been an issue since early 2000’s ….this age is the norm since then ….hell we have this age range in all 4 generations it’s only recently people are paying more and more attention to the age

But the moment younger trainees are shown it's like....👀" they're young" . Kinda duuh right? I think the name was quite telling. YG is doing something different with 4th generation. From 1TYM to blackpink YG debuted 17 and older. Treasure was first with Junghwan under 15. I'm actually quite happy about it. In kpop idols or in this case artists grownup quickly and lose the " idol" age very fast. Teens and young adults rule kpop industry so if artist debute older than 23 they soon lose interest.
