Personally, I think it may be better to use AA Ni-MH batteries because they tend to offer higher capacity than most of the battery packs which tend to advertise 1200 mAh or less. Ideally, you'd want a battery with a higher mAh because batteries with higher mAh ratings allow the controller to last longer. Even at 1900/2000 mAh for the Panasonic eneloop or LADDA 1900, they offer good battery life. The Panasonic eneloop pro offers the best battery life but they are the most expensive AA Ni-Mh with a 4-pack costing around $20 USD. Other alternatives are the IKEA LADDA 2450 (if you have access to an IKEA store), the Energizer Recharge Power Plus, or the Amazon Basics 2400 mAh.
The only downside of using AA batteries instead of the battery packs is that you'll need to swap the AA batteries out of the controller and put in the charged ones or attach the USB-C cable (or Micro USB cable) to the controller if the battery dies. You also have to get an AA battery charger like the Panasonic BQ-CC75 in addition to the batteries of your choice. If you don't have both, the BQ-CC17 with 4 eneloop batteries can be gotten for $18 on Amazon.

I have the rechargeable batteries from the Xb1 era, they work no problem with the S/X controllers.

Good list but I would also add the xScreen gaming monitor from UpSpec gaming as it compliments the Series S so much better than a standalone screen

Is that external ssd only for xbox one and 360 games or can you play series s/x games off it?

The headphone stand is awesome. Says on their website they can't laser etch writing on it because of the Xbox logo. How did you manage to get your gamertag on there?

They should have made a Series X based off this Elite Series 2 Halo design instead of the crappy grey starry one

I bought every playstation to date and then I moved over to Microsoft. I love the fact that if something happens with the batteries I just swap out with some new ones. My experience before with playstation controllers I would have to be forced to buy a brand new controller if the battery failed.

I feel like controllers of any kind better fit under the "necessities" category, rather than "accessories", though. Lol
