Yes, the reason is that morale increases the likelihood of special shots (Corkscrew Shot being the more important one as it is doable from any distance and can never be intercepted) and also increases the chance for pressure plays (especially with those stars maxed out) so we constantly have much better odds against teams that don't fight back with pressure themselves. In the finale against the Glories, their morale was 0 on a lot of players (so they can't make a pressure play I think) and that meant we went for pressure plays but they couldn't "combat" it
@SatiaroSanchez i didn't think morale would make up for the deficiencies that short pass has. It's surprising to me that morale has the big of an impact over the poor strategy or lower stats than the mastered teams
Gotta be honest, it is soul-soothing to finally see a good, easy tournament win for us
At around 9:14 after scoring we see a defender starting with the ball due to injuries, kinda cool
morale seems to be making a bigger difference than I anticipated!

@@MrAddition1 I meant with the "yes" at the beginning of my comment that I agree (=even I am surprised)
To be fair, that was the easiest bracket possible (including Guado Glories as I think they are the easiest to beat for us)
