Honestly, this 0-60 time is a bit too slow for merging onto some of the busiest freeways I drive on. Especially ones where metering lights are activated at the end of the off-ramp. I have a 2020 Honda Fit that is far from being the pinnacle of fast acceleration times, but put it in sport mode and it'll still go from 0-60 in about 8.5 seconds, perfect for merging onto the freeway. This Nissan Kicks is unnecessarily slow...sport mode should allow the driver to bypass fuel effiicency for when the driver really needs that extra acceleration.
The Kicks and the Versa have the same engine the Versa also has a manual I rented one and my grandmother has the automatic the manual was actually very much faster.
Not terrible, but nowhere near as fast as my 2020, I modified the intake system in mine and made a huge difference, not a rocket, but it'll keep up with new civics up until about 100 mph.
I wonder what happens first, it hitting 60 or cvt failure.
Well seeing that Nissan hasn’t had a widespread cvt issue since 2013, I think it’ll be fine.
@@haroldbeauchamp3770 that's good to know
Probably both
@@haroldbeauchamp3770yeah the cvt issue is exaggerated either way Nissan but I still would not buy one

@@meatball4409touching the redline twice before 60 50 means it has short gearing, not that it’s slow

simulated gears cause it is a cvt
