She drank because it made her popular in her previous incarnation and in reality she was a socially anxious and awkward mess as we saw on her debut. Her speech on the anniversary struck my heart and made me glad she managed to overcome such a bad habit, get over some of her nervousness and socialize more with the help of her gen-mates. I think I also relate on the songs she relates to, Lost Boy in particular.

Gura is basically a living meme - she plays to that aspect so well. Her SMOL body and personality help a lot but in general she really can be described with one word. Fun. She is also a LOT of fun to watch and just hang out in streams where she's messing around and doing whatever she wants. and you can tell she's had a blast since joining hololive and loves the other girls a lot.
I think that clip of Gura accidentally bumping into Aqua and killing her as soon as she saw her on MC should've been included, especially since Gura referenced Aqua as her first exposure to Hololive.

Gura's greatest personality traits really come out whenever she's with Ame. Their head to head in clubhouse 51 is an amazing experience. The boxing minigame in that is not a button masher, but they somehow turn it into one, all the while Gura is screeching from the corner of her room.

What I will always remember was the first time I heard her sing. I was expecting a fun karaoke stream with a squeaky little shark. What I got was a live concert from an angel.
She's good, but definitely not top 3 in Hololive. Gura is going up against multiple professionally-trained, hyper-talented singers who have been practicing their abilities for years, some of which have built their careers off of their voices. Gura has talent, but not that level of talent.

I just finished binging all your hololive videos and i gotta say it's really fun seeing you discover their talents! One nitpick I have is that I'd rather see part of the yt interface with maybe the title of the video you are watching (like in earlier videos) than have it blown over and have the bottom part cut especially since sometimes subtitles end up there. on bright side, lots of rhythm games developers are reaching out to Hololive to ask Gura to play their games and sponsoring her
That is why you'll see her playing so many various rhythm games especially from JP
It is a loss of chance for Muse Dash (and their ratings in Steam got bombed so hard by hardcore Holofans) but open big door for other rhythm games
If you also consider Hololive as idol company, they are literally your best chances to promote your games

Gura's greatest personality traits really come out whenever she's with Ame. Their head to head in clubhouse 51 is an amazing experience.
The boxing minigame in that is not a button masher, but they somehow turn it into one, all the while Gura is screeching from the corner of her room.

Gura is so damn wholesome, when she cried during their 6 month anniversary it actually wrecked me.
Gura is just so honest that it makes her seem more real than youtube personalities a lot of the time. Especially when she sings or does special events.
All these Gura Clips, and no one sent him the first amazing Shark Squealing scream from that Outlast stream that became one of Gura's signature noises beside "a".
I think the funniest thing she did was her reaction to her own first stream, and she can't stop cringing at the silliness of it.
I still like it the fact that you can fully explain Gura just by saying "a" or "9+10=11"
I really like these longer discovery videos and I would love to see at some point in the future a sort of "Re-discover" or something on some of the earlier girls you've covered
I think Haachama, Matsuri and Miko have had some really great wholesome, funny, and just great moments in recent months

She's good, but definitely not top 3 in Hololive. Gura is going up against multiple professionally-trained, hyper-talented singers who have been practicing their abilities for years, some of which have built their careers off of their voices. Gura has talent, but not that level of talent.
and as well nagzz usually doesnt go into karoke territory atleast in these reviews because of dmca , he will watch it without sound if its like "their original song" i'm sure he's aware as most people exposed to gura that she is a great singer. it's her strongest point next to rhythm games.

One nitpick I have is that I'd rather see part of the yt interface with maybe the title of the video you are watching (like in earlier videos) than have it blown over and have the bottom part cut especially since sometimes subtitles end up there.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Fubuki and Korone were both racing to 1 million subs, we were all debating who would get there first. Gura came out of nowhere and became the first member of Hololive to 1 million after 40 days. She's also the first 2 million, but she's close to double the amount of subs of Korone, who is second. She'll eventually pass Kizuna Ai as the most subscribed vtuber ever

Gura is definitely one of the popular and most well known hololive member. With here comedic timing, personality, memerability, amazing singing voice and cuteness. She deserves all the praises and most subscribers. Recently Gura watched her debut after 6 months and she was super cringing hard XD. It really shows how much she has grown even after 6 months! You can tell over the months that she's grown alot and become more comfortable with herself. In many of her videos, gura makes references to many relatable memes, so she is very good in being a super meme lord that everyone loves. Here singing ability is AMAAAAZING. Nagzz, if you ever somehow encounter her singing videos, give them all a listen. Her singing voice is soooo soothing to the ears
