My birthday is May 13th, but mom never tried that on me when my birthday landed on Mother's Day. LOL I miss mom and this one always tears me up. There's so much I see or hear and want to share with her. This song included. Thank you ^_^
Thank you two for reacting to this song. The guys do it beautifully and with the parents and kids, it is so nice. I spent my time at home with my dog. One boy lives a long way off and the other boy is on a shutdown at the plant, so I told the kids to take care of their moms. I will be taking care of the kids all week (for the ones close by) :)

In MN, the fishing opener is on Mother's Day weekend (edit here: I meant to put also, ...about half the time.) Guess who gets priority? I had a bait shop/garden center. It was always a great $ weekend. The women were free to spend as much as they wanted in exchange for the guys going fishing. End is the best.
This is a beautiful heart felt song. Thanks for sharing. That is terrible what happen on ur bdays! Thats may have been ok when u got older but not as a ten year old little boy.so sorry.. That really had to break ur heart and i can see it scared u for life. Hope u had at least a bday cake and a party? And u know what not to do anything like this to ur child. I should have kept my opinion to myself but it was upsetting to hear what happen to u. Many hugs U both have a great day!!
How sad to not get a present. I feel my child is my present. I don't need a present as I already have her. Wouldn't miss her for the world. I live in France and in other countries mothers day is 8th of May this years, but in France it is the 29th of May. So when I was pregnant I thought I had already missed mothers day, went to the hospital, had the baby and on the Sunday a young man walks in with a rose. I thought: how cute he has a rose for his wife, a shame he walked in to wrong room though. Turns out it was a present from the hospital for mothers day. I had not missed it after all. My heart melted then and there. Well, there would not be a mothers day for your mum if you had not been born, she should celebrate your day as you being happy should make her happy.
