So his focus now is those issues!

@phumudzo Well you know at the end of the day we are looking for a leader for SA and not palestine and yes what is and has been happening there is rough but do you know that more people have died here since last year in October in this country then in palestine when the war started (since i last checked) and we are not in war so to look for a person who will have such intrest won't benefit the republic because look at a leaders like Ramaphosa he is always in other place but his own country and he also tried to play a part in bringing this to an end but the war is still going on so we as a nation need to first build ourselves so that when we do intervene its not like a whatever it must be a descion that is felt and respected by the international community because we as a nation have a tarnished history so their is no much we can do in terms of an international space so let fix SA so we can have such a voice like "American" ,Russia or other wealthy and strong European nations

Us who remember, we know that we are free because other countries left their domestic issues to stand for us. And so, we stand for them too, regardless what our domestic issues are.
Maybe you and Mashaba were born yesterday and you do not know us and as South Africa and where we come from, but we remember our history and we remember to stand for others still oppressed.
Without understanding of this, you cannot govern the 80% black masses. We are Christian mostly, but we are not blind Christians. There is genocide in Congo but why is that not spoken about yes it all tragic events but be realistic if you believe that a president should focus on other countries then you don't know anything about being a leader. What some of you are failing to understand is that SA is part of the international community, we live in a more globalised world where even wars, international logistics and other economies politics can affect us even indirectly. The attention given to injustices in other countries does not take away focus and attention on our own issues here in SA. This means that Action SA should remain a municipal or provincial party, cause national government especially as president has a big international component with it. It is at a municipal level where services directly affect the people at grassroot level that should be ActionSA niche.

Politicians need to fix what is broken in South Africa because there are people and children being killed and raped everyday, hunger, joblessness, famiscide, etc. and this is as real as the war in Gaza.

You were asking a good question admittedly but your incessant insistence on the answer you’re not getting was concerning. As a voter/electorate you have the right not to vote for a leader/party whose policies you don’t agree with, foreign or domestic. Such policies themselves can have an offensive, defensive or neutral stance. Your tone was unnecessary & prolonged.

This interviewer clearly has an agenda to discredit Mr Mashaba and make it seem like he is not a capable man to lead this Country. This is poor journalism. We have bigger problems in SA than to involve ourselves in complex matters of the Middle East, how hard is that to understand? Get out of here man.

Why care about Palestine and not Haiti? Instead of figuring out a way to eradicate economic sanctions for good we are worried about fighting foreign Apartheid. Next thing we will be more concerned about slavery reparations for instead of our GDP. Morality has no place in geopolitics if it is not to your advantage.
