This is my favorite VMA performance of all time!!!! I'm so happy to finally got to experience it!!! But I would recommend reacting to the music video, "If"; you shall not be disappointed!!!!
She was woke in the 80s making social and political statements like no other, before Michael, before Madonna, before Beyoncé yet she doesn’t get the recognition. It makes me so frustrated as she’s in a class of her own. She’s a legend with a legacy unmatched.
Disgraced Les Moonves, former CEO and chairman of CBS who was booted for sexually harassment, allegedly sought to ruin the career of Janet Jackson following her “wardrobe malfunction” at the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show. Her legacy is finally recovering from this dirtbags blatant sabotage. He had her music banned from radio stations and her music videos pulled. She was blackballed for a while.

I’ve been a Janet fan since the late 80’s, all the way to now. I love her! I think your Janet journey should start at the beginning. You should react to her Control album first and move up from there. Her progression throughout the years is amazing! The janet. album and The Velvet Rope are the peak of her awesomeness!

I like Madonna but let's be honest, she's NEVER been the performer that Janet is! Furthermore, she's been embarrassed herself as of late with her performances. She needs to sit down and nurse her arthritis or whatever it is she's got going on with her worn out bones, cartilage or hips! And, her last about didn't even sell enough to chart on BB. There's no need to be delusional, she WAS a great seller but those days are GONE! She's trying to stay relevant by dating a kid!

J Lo can be seen in the making of the videos choreography practices. But the day before the video shoot she was no longer there. She was replaced by Cynthia Davila for the Janet Tour

I love Janet, don't get me wrong, but her problem is she never changed up her choreography. What u see in the music video is what u get. But alas she abandoned her fans to marry a Prince. She did this so smart. As soon as she had that baby, she was on the next flight to L.A..... Financially securing herself forever. I guess she figured it was easier to entertain 1 man, than all her fans by touring or even putting out new music til she landed back in America.
