I thought with the non projected tip they recommend not to gap them? What tool did you use to gap them vs regular plugs? Awesome video I've been waiting for someone to come out with this.
Question about the rear O2 sensor. I noticed you don’t have the CEL did you get the tune before they stopped turning it off with the stage 2 tune? Running a spacer or rear O2 sensor unplugged?
I have a gti mk7 and have a stage 2 from cobb accesport so would the gap be the same as yours? Sorry if the question sounds a bit stupid but im new to this. The car came with a tune
I noticed a little bit of oil on the end of my plugs not real bad. I just put a catch can in a couple weeks ago. Do you think it’s normal to have a little or should I be concerned? Stage 1 APR tune with stock IS12 turbo.
@@xxslipknotxx555 I don't have that problem at 80k km. I recommend calling the folks at unitronic...most of them are on the mqb platform with lots of knowledge. I am going to change mine spark plug soon.
Good to see the GTI get some love. Wheels look nice man 👍
Thanks man!
@@ColoredinLight yo what size tools i need to take out the spark plugs?
babe wake up, the Colored in Light TH-cam channel just posted!
How are these for daily driving with stage 2?
It's what the tuner recommends so it's fine with their tune.

2 were gapped to the required and 2 were a little larger so didn't really need to do much. Just a feeler gauge

Your tuner will probably have the recommended specifications. But I'd imagine it's the same.
@@ColoredinLight ok thank you so much for responding.

As long as you're not getting misfires I'm sure you're ok!
Im stage 2 unitronic and i use the oem plugs do you think thats an issue? Havent really felt anything bad to upgrade into anything different
It depends on your tuner. I'd run whatever they say is best.
I also have stage two with them. I called them and they said to replace with oem spark plug
@@cunat10 nice! I do however find it rough on idle with oem spark plugs sometimes….Do you have anything else upgraded? Coil packs?

Enjoy the videos, but the out of focus parts drive me crazy :)
Yea not much I can do about while shooting by myself
