I was confused by the red frame and fork boots until the end. Interesting build. RJ was my childhood hero!
I was definitely hesitant to do it, but I think it turned out great. Thanks!
Mine too! I remember going to my very first national in 1986 at Southwick. I remember seeing riders going by in practice with "Johnson" "Ward" and "Hannah" printed on the back of their jerseys and thinking they were imposters. I couldn't believe all of the guys I saw in all the MX magazines were actually at my home track. I know it sounds silly, but that's how huge these guys were in my mind.
One of the best designs I’ve ever seen
Retro!! FN gorgeous 😍. 80's look ❤
Nice ,love the colors you chose.
Could you do an IN DEPTH video of rebuilding shocks? Im doing a resto on a 1985 CR125R and all the videos I watch fly by the parts I need. I would greatly appreciate it, thanks!
Dang man!!! And I thought I had seen them all!!! Wow!!!!!
Awesome build!
marvelous result

Bellezaaaaaaaa
Amazing👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I wish I could buy a bike off of you. You're so good at building bike lol the bike market in ohio is so bad especially for 2000s cr 125r.
Looks awesome. I restored an 87 BW200 over the winter. How many hours and total cost was it? Mine was about 300 hours and 4K.
🔥🔥
Hey Matt, awesome job man! Where’d you get that skid plate? I’m looking for one for my 2000 cr250r
I cant wrap my head around the retro dust guards over the forks when theyre still USD 😂
Looks dope but wrong at the same time😎
Where did you buy that number plate?
You should throw a shout-out to RJ himself and see if he'd like to come out and take a spin on this baby. That bike is beautiful enough to get his attention for sure, so why not give it a shot? The worst that could happen is him saying, "No thanks." 🤷🏻♂️
Nice, Indonesia🙏
How do you get the forks that beautiful gold color?
@MattBerger02 that's what I thought, looks well worth the wait and cash🤠👍
What seat is that?!
This has to be the best looking cr 250 of all times, just sickening
wozu lackiert man einen Alu- Rahmen und zieht Faltenbälge über die Standrohre ?
The bike is modeled off of Ricky Johnson's 1986 CR250. That bike had a red frame and the blue fork boots!

Alu Frame in red 🫣
3:46 That's not how you press a bearing in, that's bad cringe.
@@MattBerger02 Apologies, I missed that you used the old bearing to press in the new. All I focussed on was all the force on the inner race, missing the new bearing underneath. Feel free to remove my comment.
What’s plastics are those
This is beautiful.
Thanks!!!
