A lotta ppl in our community just jump into relationships have kids and become single parents with baggage, until we start doing ir the other way around it's gonna be a fail every time, 20s are for self discovery and achievement, of course there are exceptions but the exceptions are not the majority, starting a family, going to school having a career and a stable income is always gonna be the best way to start a successful relationship, kids don't care that you're studying or that you're tired they just want your attention when they want it. It saddens me when the black family don't stay together.

I'm in my late 30s and my father has always been around me growing up but he never took his responsibilities it was always his mother or grandmother taking care of me and when I became an adult he did everything in his power to avoid me, he would make excuses of why he wasn't there for me like he'd say things like he doesn't have a bond with me because he wasn't with my mother, or that it's because I was a girl and that he couldn't teach me anything and finally in my 30s when I was building my first home he came around and promised me that he would fund part of it, not only did he not respect his promise, he disappeared till this day. I really feel like women are responsible for the behavior of useless men like my father, they refuse to let him be a man, wanna take on all his responsibilities for him. I know us women have the power to break the cycle by either not having children or taking the time to get to know these men before allowing their DNA to become one with ours, we owe it to society if we want less broken people in the world.
That's not necessarily true. Previous to the 1950s, that was the way it was done. Reason being is because of the commitment factor. Everything was taken much more seriously because nothing was taken for granted. Every step had to be taken and made to be solid. 50's to 1968 more focus on civil rights. 1968 to 75 is when the fractures started. 75-90 is when most of everything people worked, lived, fought for and died over was broken by jealousy, lack of self improvement, the blame game, abandonment, lack of focus on education and drugs. 90 to 2010 was made worse by the anger of the previous situation and a refusal to copycat. It was going to be done different and maybe not for the better but definitely different. Marriage and family was not as important. 2010 on everything had to be public and instant. Skip all the steps. Very few are willing to be patient and grow when social media shows only the absolute best moments all the time. Everything has to be instant. Fix the way of thinking, self control and pride and watch how fast things get fixed.
So because she blocked his family that doesn't mean they can't help with the kids.

I guess she was fed up from things that happened in the past from him. I didn’t see any love between the two of them at all. She was just there to be there. Honestly, she came off very scorned, uncaring and unsupportive but I KNOW from past experience that when you’re fed up there’s nothing anyone can do about it. No way she was like that from day 1 nine years ago. Idk what’s going on entirely and I feel we missed out on A LOT of information but yeah. What I got from that was that he expected her to be the primary caregiver for their kids, the cleaner/maid, and work outside the house so they could pay their bills, he also thought it was perfectly fine that he go to school, go to work outside the house, and come home to be left alone so he can play his video games for a few hours for his own down time. Meanwhile, the full-time parent and cleaner/maid got zero time to herself or down time, she was just expected to be okay with getting minimal and infrequent help with the kids or cleaning/doing jobs around the house, she wanted to have a life and some space too yet he thought that she should be solely responsible for the kids, the house, and additionally taking care of him so he could live his best life.. because "she's the woman". What a profoundly selfish and misogynistic partner. No wonder she finally reached her breaking point, no wonder she began leaving him with the kids and the housework so that she could travel with her friends. She clearly needed space for her own sanity, especially seeing as he showed her no support nor appreciation for all the sacrifices she had to make, and the heavy load she carried on her own for all those years. I hope that now that it's over for them as a couple, that he actually steps up and arranges to be an equal (50/50) co-parent, I hope he begins showing his kids that he can be a good father and not just a sometimes dad, because he owes it to the kids to start being far more present in their lives. I hope that she can have the space needed to work through her thoughts and feelings, and maybe go back to school to continue her studies during the days he has their kids.

I think sometimes you don't wanna let go of the relationship,but, you are so pissed off. This anger and resentment comes out usually in passive aggressive ways. We tend to rationalise our bad behaviour by comparing it to what the person did to this. If u noticed, she also mentioned that her cheating was little to what he has done to her. If she really can't let go of the past, she should go. If he really wants the relationship to last, he has to patiently suffer through the pain of his failings, go above and beyond to show that he has changed and make her feel secure

And from what I hear 👂 to this day he’s still angry, resentful, hateful, and actually surprised that I did it .
Once you know your man has cheated, why stick around to give him the chance to do it again. He gave her an STD, and she still stuck around. She's nuts. When women get into a relationship, they know if they are going to sleep with the person, get on birth control. Don't depend on him to take care of that, protect yourself.
