    My 07 Ram Hemi I was trying to get more MPG and I went to a electric cooling fan for a 2010 Ram airconditioning rad. I can turn off the fan pretty much all year. It will sit and idle for a long time before I need to turn it on. The Hemi must have a pretty good cooling system.

    Very helpful video. After torching a head I am dry decked now so glad to see a street driven car and how it performs. What size are the lines/fittings from block to head? What temp thermostat do you run? Ever consider reverse flow? Thanks in advance and congratulations on all your success!

    • @Canadianchucknorris69
      @Canadianchucknorris69  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      10AN fitting at the back. Being as it’s winter when I leave Canada I run 180 then switch to a 160 high flow when I get to warm weather, my thermostat housing is oringed so I don’t have to mess with gaskets.
      I have thought of reverse cooling bit that means getting rid of the mechanical factory pump…. And I like the reliability of it. Reverse cooling would definitely be better, but I have seen a downside to this set up
      Yet.

    I was wandering if you could do a video on solid roller lifters? I’m running a bullet cam that is designed for the butler 340cnc head.The cam is ground on the Ls firing order with a Hyd roller profile tight lashed at .004.With all that said I want to know your thoughts on current offering living on the street.BTW my target is 1600 max drive anywhere kinda deal…

    On anything other than Sick Week where its cool temps, we have to run the fans the whole time it will overheat at highway speeds without the fans.

    Have done any logs with just water in the intercooler and no ice? Thinking of going air 2 water on next build and just trying to figure out different options. Also do you run a heat exchanger/rad on the a2w or just the water cooler?

    • @Canadianchucknorris69
      @Canadianchucknorris69  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I actually made a pass on sickweek with no pump on (we were troubleshooting a fuel issue and unplugged the water cooler pump) temp only went up to 130, but we were running the pump so we probably chilled it somewhat.

      @@Canadianchucknorris69 Rich, certainly many have many more concerns issues with running methanol fuel, especially with HIGHLY FLAMMABLE liquid, fire safety, etc.
      However, seriously consider using ethanol from true E-85, C-85, 85% E [as NASCAR] up to higher ethanol E-88, 90, 95 + as others including with Top Alcohol NHRA/IHRA/PDRA/etc. This is much simpler with much increase in power [minimum 100 HP+] over any older racing fuels as C-110-116, with cleaner burning, far less carbon deposits, build-up, lower temperature combustion, and during RMRW and higher air temperature, summer events including Sick Summer, etc, no issues, problems with fuel heating, overheating, boiling in the tank. Also the fuel is far more consistent with quality, content even from racing fuel suppliers and less expensive too.
      Certainly there are some components and fuel lines that will require changing.
