for the semi-automatic crop farm, I'd suggest using flowing water blocks directing towards a single hopper instead of multiple hoppers in order to save on resources.
@@kellydempsey9868 Yes! Instead of having a line of hoppers at the bottom of the farm, you can instead place a source block at one end of the line, so that way when you open the trap doors all of the vegetables will still get pushed down to where the hoppers are in this video, but will instead drop down into a trench with flowing water which ends at a single hopper to collect everything. This way if you have no iron farm or iron in abundance, you could save resources by only having to build a single hopper instead of several.
Great video! I tried out your semi-auto veggie farm but couldn't get it to work all together. @8:55 I placed my water and it all flowed out through the traps. If I place the trap at the adjacent block, it dams the water but the switch won't toggle the traps. So I can get the pieces to work individually, but not together. It is still awesome to see people who are so clever
You can point the pistons down. Use a lever and have them fully extend (downwards). When you flick the lever, it retracts, enabling the water behind it to push your crops forward. Activating the lever again extends the hoppers and stops the flow of water. Hope that helps!
It's depressing when I found out that in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, when I put water between the stone bricks and trapdoors the water goes through the trapdoors :(
I have this issue also. To work around this you can use pistons facing upwards one block forward from where the trapdoors would sit. Then dig two blocks down and lay Redstone all across the 13 blocks, then put slabs over the Redstone at the base of the Pistons and connect them to the switch. This works perfectly fine. When you flip the switch the Pistons should extend upwards and you will be able to fill a half block of water 13 across. You will have to adjust the length of the farm to account for this change so instead of eight rows of wheat you would do six.

i've built most of these in my survival world and they work great, but for any kind of return you need to make them a lot bigger. but this tutorial is so soothing i just had to watch it all again. - the sheep one doesn't use THAT many shears, and you can fill the dispensers by hand if you leave room at the back to get in there. Dye the sheep all 16 colors and run a minecart under for collection and you can have every wool color in ample supply. - you can get by with one observer on the sugarcane/bamboo if you are short of nether quartz i have a three deck, 48 cactus farm and it barely generates enough cactus to run a single autosmelter. by running the cactus into the top of a furnace and the bamboo as fuel you can generate XP without mobs. it is quite useful, but you need a lot of cactus and bamboo

I cannot make the last one. I feel so cruel putting the animals in a place like that. i know they're just software with textures, but its so hard to do idk why XD
Same here. I think it’s important to kill them myself. I lure babies through a one block high gate into the fattening pen, then kill all when mature
@@kaituminaro6648 this is getting low key psychopathic XD
If i get food I am happy
I mean, I'm vegan irl but there's a certain enjoyment in-game with being able to take the hands-on approach and farm the old fashioned stabby-slashy way. I'm not for hurting irl animals but for pixels and software code, meh.
I just fish for food & i completely leave the land animals alone . Fishing is Very efficient anyways .
if i try to make the automatic farm with trapdoors and place water behind a trapdoor it just goes through it?
Same here
@@d.shwastyy i ended up creating my own design using sticky pistons
@@saski4ever I just did that rn haha
@@d.shwastyy do you happen to know how to make a long line of pistons? if i put a repeater the piston at that spot doesn't work
@@saski4ever I just followed the dimensions on the video and used red stone dust on the blocks
i've built most of these in my survival world and they work great, but for any kind of return you need to make them a lot bigger. but this tutorial is so soothing i just had to watch it all again.
- the sheep one doesn't use THAT many shears, and you can fill the dispensers by hand if you leave room at the back to get in there. Dye the sheep all 16 colors and run a minecart under for collection and you can have every wool color in ample supply.
- you can get by with one observer on the sugarcane/bamboo if you are short of nether quartz
i have a three deck, 48 cactus farm and it barely generates enough cactus to run a single autosmelter. by running the cactus into the top of a furnace and the bamboo as fuel you can generate XP without mobs. it is quite useful, but you need a lot of cactus and bamboo
Omg this is actually super helpful thanks so much!
i have found my way here at 12 am and I don't even play minecraft.
*I am loving it.*
You should play Minecraft
@@michaelg8841 what money my parents do buy me Minecraft :(
You should really start to play, then

This is like ASMR, no, it’s better than ASMR, and I love it. I wanna stay.
Automatic Bamboo /Sugar Cane Farm is very beautiful! Thank you!
I like how he makes 0 mistake while placing block

I love the PIANO BACKGROUND SOUND ITS MAKING ME SO RELAXXXX!!!
U explain this in a great way ur not talking fast unlike some other youtubers and usually I don’t like reading but right now I don’t mind it
I love all these farm designs. I especially like that they are compact and stylish enough I don't have to hide them or struggle to decorate around them. I seen a similar crop farm but it was so big and resource heavy. I will try this design its more my still and more the level of what i need for my world. the only thing i will change is water streams instead of all the hoppers.
This is *NOT* only tutorial, but *ASMR*
Wow, this video is so straight forward, and no begging for people to subscribe. You just did it so well
Keep up the good work!
"pumpkin/melon farm"
me: *laughs in xbox because melon/pumpkin stem attaching to a block doesn't count as an update to the observer*
Put an observer above the grass and connect the redstone to the pistons.
You can make a daylight sensor mechanism so whenever it turns night or day the pistons activate
They fixed it already in one of 1.16 patches.
Cool!
Its work on PE 1.16
Okay but howcome when I replicate the design @ 9:05 the water phases through the trapdoors
Same!
this has helped me so much its honestly unbelieveable
Ayy nice, I've been wanting some tips to work with thx.
Thank so so so much you actually helped me alot I am going to build this all love you bro👍
Thank you buddy, i'm glad they helped =)

Finally The Sweet berries Not Kill me:)

Why did you crouched to place observers on top of a sticky piston?
To back up far enough to place them correctly without falling off the block he is standing on
The background music makes this video really calming and nice to watch
Hey! The simple sweet berry farm blew my mind. I always got hurt when harvesting them. You just earned yourself a sub!
Does it have to be specifically spruce trapdoors? I used dark oak ones for the carrot farm and the water still spill out
Same here. Let me know if you figure it out and I'll do the same.
sameee my water is spilling out😭 pls lemme know if u find out how
I’ve tried all trap doors and still have the water spill out. You guys work it out?
I has a lot of stress today but your music and video made me calmer:) u earned a sub
8:56 how come when I pour water in it leaks through the trap doors?
I had the same problem
Use a dispenser Instead of Trapdoor and water!! It works if u have mcpe or other version i had that same problem but i fixed with creative mode one dispenser make sure u face the dispenser downside for water flows
You should make more of these but 1.17 based because I feel like a lot of people will pick up minecraft again when it comes out 😁
Love this. It works for everything from inspiration to wind down nap time viewing. Yes yes, new favorite video
Me: listening to relaxing music
