Tried TDH edt, edp and Intense Vetiver. Tested Red Vetiver by Montale and Guerlain Vetiver.... if you ever need a vetiver fragrance, go with Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDP. fresh, clean, crisp vetiver, ready to wear anytime and anywhere from sport, casual to wedding or business meeting ( best suited for grey fox though :)) )
Hey Polly, this is the first time I see a video of yours and I find your explanations quite enjoying in general. You share your feelings and you give factual information which is a refreshing and nice combination. (Even if I don't agree with all the things you say :) I am a 35 year old masculine man. I blind bought Montale Red Vetiver. The first time I HATED it. But after a few times however, I liked it A LOT! I would describe it as how someone that works half time like a Lumberjack and half time as the owner operator of a Herbal Pharmacy in the woods. It smells like fresh greenery and medicine. Regarding the name Red Vetiver - If I had to give this fragrance a color it would definitely be Green Vetiver.
Thank you, and as strange as it might sound, I love when people disagree with me..lol I can only express my experience, but it's limited to me, by no means it represents the ultimate truth. Anytime you disagree I would love for you to share your thoughts, I personally use comments to decide if I want to gamble on a blind buy 😀
@@polly2018 The world of fragrances is so interesting because there are different scents, different tastes and the juice reacts differently to different skins. I am grateful for videos like yours because they help me a lot. I started collecting last year and have 12 fragrances (11 of which I blind bought) All have been successful to a degree. I like the blind buy process and feelings of uncertainty. I am a social dancer (Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba) and before covid I always had a fragrance but I didn’t put much thought into it. As a fat guy I always cared about my hygiene and after speaking with the ladies a lot of ladies told me that a nice smell/scent is extremely important. I am not very good looking but I always smelled nice and am a very good dancer and women would always accept a dance with me (there are very few instances that they refused but that is their choice and is OK)
I have TDH Parfum and the Kumkat Wood smells similar to me. I like it as a safe office cologne in the medical field where I don't want anyone to smell me. It doesn't really project or last long compared to every other Mancera I have.
Red Vetiver last 18-20 hours, thick and projects like a beast, you can spray it under your clothes and it will project mildly if it is too strong for your liking, a bottle of Montale RV is like1 1/2- 2 bottles of the TDH Parfume.
Red Vetiver is very nice and last long . On a budget you could find Banana Republic Cypress Cedar from the Icon collection . It would be about 95% of these 3 This TDH dna is a classic and should be in any man’s collection . If you don’t think you can wear it now , some day you will mature and reach for it .
I have Hermes EDP and KW. I prefer KW. Terre doesn’t smell similar in my opinion. KW is brighter. KW reminds me of CK be but longer lasting. Also, similar to Chanel Allure Blanche. Great Review.
Thank you for your honest reviews. I feel the same way about kumkat.
Great explanation. I have the TDH Parfum and was thinking about giving Red Vétiver a try.
Great video! 🙏 I like how everyone has difficulties with describing Montale fragrances. Thank you for the video

Agree. I'm extremely curious about Montale Vetiver Patchouli, since I love Red Vetiver I have a good feeling about that one.

I know, I love that about you RD.
I have the 8 ml, and I'm good for a long time. I use only 1 spray at the back of the neck, no need for more.
I love tdh and will give red vetiver a try
10:02 awwww 😔💔

I can see that especially if you compare to the EDP. I wander if Hermès vetiver is as bright as KW.
So good
