Wow, excellent teacher, you look pretty happy giving the class, it would be nice if you come to Costa Rica to give us a little course on this subject (also, you can take advantage to visit our beaches) :)

52:00 nice app about the sun's path seen by an observer on earth. Nice to understand how the sun changes the location per season of the year.

A great course. Thanks a lot! Just felt it's not bad to make sth clear.
16:41 >> the middle east, the "Arab" world is really where science and technology was at.
The thing is that Iran is also part of the middle east and most Iranians are Persian, not Arab. Abu Rayhan al-Biruni was also Iranian, not Arab. Moreover, many advancements in different fields of science at that time happened in Iran.

It's crazy how on every single one of the MIT OCW lectures, the first lecture always has the highest amount of views, then they drop afterwards. Jesus, lack of dedication guys.

@Tonio The reason Spain is on the same time zone as Germany is because when King Franco I ruled Spain during WWII he wanted to be just like Nazi Germany, to include being on their same time table. Not because they want to facilitate travel. BOOM!
