- Bugatti invited me to join them for a full in-depth tour and look at the new Vision Gran Turismo, launched at the 2015 IAA in Frankfurt. The car is created for the fans, as an entry to driving with a Bugatti in the popular gaming franchise.
Joining a number of the creative team, Achim Anscheidt (Head of Design), Sasha Selipanov (Creative Design) and Etienne Salome (Interior Design), we are able to take a full look around the vehicle and discuss the features that have gone into making this an incredibly realistic racing machine, as opposed to being limited to fantasy.
In addition we can also hear the roar of the startup and the power of the W16, before I jump inside for an exclusive look into the driving position of the new Bugatti race car.

OMG!!! This car (if I can call it just a car) is totally mind-fucking. Man, look at these vents, these aerodynamic features that add so much downforce, these super beautiful wheels. Design masterpiece! I don't know what else to comment. Bugatti one more time surprized me.

I like it but it looks like something a Lamborghini designer would come up with if asked to design the next Bugatti. It doesn't really have that bug feel.

Honestly I've never been a massive Bugatti fan, personally I'm more of a Lamborghini and McLaren person, but this car is just awesome 👌

Seriously this design is the best I've ever seen. It's so aggressive, yet elegant, organic… so many details… and also the race heritage. And the grille from the old Bugattis. This hits 11/10

Blues a pretty good colour though
Blue is the historical Bugatti colour but it ties in with the fact that Playstation's associated colour is blue also. I was surprised to see the owner of Polyphony Digital's (Sony) plaque on the car.

What engine is that? if they actually have a new engine in that that makes it actually move, then how much does such project costs knowing that you won't make sale profit?

Wow!!! What a beautiful car, its looks like something straight out of childs imagination finally realized and producted. Why just one tho? They seem to always want to spoon feed us great displays of machinal engineering such as this, which really isnt fair, make more for gods sake.. I use to wonder whats next, but i think the Devel Sixteen answered that question very clearly with its 5000 hp, and 371 top speed plus 0-60 time of 1.8 seconds which is insane omg. Anymore faster you guys and somebodies gonna time travel lol.
Only 1 thing bugging me...... That DRS/Air Brake system is counter productive... In this configuration, it's fine the wing is basically one piece across the rear of the car... As an Air Brake it's fine also (to an extent).. But the problem is as a DRS.. Ok, Air Brake the center of the rear raises up (that piston pushes the wing 'up') creating more drag (braking as with the Veyron) and the outer edges help to keep the rear stable.... But reverse it, that center section drops (as in an F1 car) to make the car 'slipperier' and those fixed outer edges of the spoiler are working against it.... Don't get me wrong, it is a stunning piece of engineering and thank you to Shmee150 for the walk around....

+CaFilms Gran Turismo is less popular than Forza?! Good one mate. Most of the GT games have sold 10m+ copies. Forza games don't even come close to that. Forza 5 and Horizon 2 both sold around 1m copies. Forza's best game FM4 only sold 4.5 million copies. GT6 was a terrible game and it still outsold Forza 5 and Horizon 2 combined. Forza will never be as big as GT is. Majority of the people play gran turismo and Vision GT is Gran Turismo's project.

I've never been a fan of the Veyron's looks, but this is just straight up awesome. If this hints at the Veyron's successor, then I'm quite excited to see what they've come up with.

I highly doubt it would be a street car it's so low and so impractical it might just be one of those collector cars for the rich that take it out for track days

+Vane Naumovski Yes, it is track only car. Think Ferrari FXX K to Ferrari LaFerrari and Zonda R to Zonda F. Bugatti Vision is very much a glimpse of the incoming Veyron successor once the racing parts are removed.

this cars entire reason for being a thing is to be a concept, it was created for gran turismo 6 as part of a thing called "Vision Gran Turismo" which showcases some impossible futuristic cars from some of the biggest and most influential car makers ever.

Well this is by far the most impressive car ive ever seen. The rear wing is amazing with the slits. How the huge rear air intake for the engine from the side looks like a large circle from the front of the door around too the bottom of the door. Plus the spin of the car really looks great. Ive honestly never been impressed as much as i am now looking at this car. Great work.
