MAJOR DEFECT in 2021 MG ZS Style - Almost got us stranded!

Here's our long term update on our 2021 MG ZS Style, Philippines version. We have owned it closing to 2 years and gone 28,000 kms on the odometer. There were several of those miles that we have not gone easy with the car and it has coped with it with aplomb.
Except for one incident which would have been easily resolved if not for one factory defect - the owner's manual! Fuse information indicated on the manual was incorrect, which proved to be harrowing for the 450km journey we did recovering a race SUV from Subic.
We still love the car though and we still couldn't highly recommend it. But we're hankering for the MG HS, which seems to be a much better car all around than the ZS for not much money.

MG ZS is not designed for towing.. But its good to see it can tow.

The 'major flaw' is the lack of a fuse diagram and the dependence of several components (including engine start) on a functioning brake fuse?
Issues were triggered when you towed a trailer and wired supplemental brake lights (?)
Lacking a diagram - OK
Towing - is it even rated for such?
