Many thanks for the videos, they are bringing happy memories from when I was deep sea from AB to J3/0, 3/0, extra 2/0, on and up (generally on Freezer/general cargo ships Port line E.G. Port Chalmers, Port Caroline being the largest conventional Freezer ships in the world - many years ago) You have a great future, wishing you all the best.
I’m a retired firefighter paramedic in the United States and you are correct about when donning the firefighting gear every second counts. We would routinely drill with a goal of getting all our gear on and breathing air in 1.5 minutes.
Your vlogs are giving are really good view of what a seafarer's life is but for me they are a moment of nostalgia. I remember standing at the side desk to launch the lifeboat. On one of the ships we actually went for a swin in the south china sea.
Smcp are used while talking and if u are telling about the voice then even I find it hard to understand it's quite weird when comes out from walkie talkies
Thank you so much for this very informative video! Till date I had just heard about Merchant Navy but because of internet we could see the way you people work in challenging and unpredictable conditions. You people are real heroes. Hats off to you all. 👍

This is another very interesting video. Yes, it is important that everything is practiced over and over again, an emergency could occur at some point and then every move has to be perfect. But as you can see, everything is going very well and may never come to an emergency. Thank you for your video and best regards to you and everyone on Emma Maersk. 🔝👍⚓💙⛴

Wouldn't mind learning what your procedures are on ship before, during and after a winter storm. How do you deal with heavy ice build up on all your deck fittings? How do you avoid slipping on an icy deck?
Hi Karan, Excellent blog One thing is sure that the way it was explained was absolutely inspirational, experienced enlightening. Sea view was very beautiful. i suggest in your vlog give little description about sea i.e., depth, type of fishes species found, waves type basically many times
Bhai u need to work on ur editing skills of the vlog. And if u think Iam an amateur. So let me tell u ima marine on a warship. I like ur vlogs keep it going. It was just a suggestion. Take it or not. But we are both mariners. And all those who like to watch your vlog. But one thing I can definetly say being an Indian we rock on seas dude. My captain doesn't allows me to record videos. Or else viewers could see a real battle ship. Anyways keep going I like your vlogs just perfect your editing skills. P. S I KNOW TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.
It was nice video Karan....but you should explain in more details that lifeboat launching procedure nd liferaft bcz it will be very helpful for people who are joining ship very first time and also for those who are appearing in exams..
