JM picks and chooses when he wants to celebrate or downplay someone success after prison. So annoying. You would think he would’ve too this mans story to ENCOURAGE others who are just getting out of prison.
The plaintiff was right. His keybwords were if you try! Anyone can be successful after prison. You just have to try and not give up no matter how discouraged you get
I agree. The amount of ppl who don’t want to try who don’t have a record holding them back is insane. Let these ex felons work. Especially if they have restitution.
JM usually says how great to see you get out and turn your life around! And set example for others! Why does he keep saying it’s not always that way! ?!?!
He explained. He said not all ex-cons have success stories, depending on why they got incarcerated in the first place. That’s the truth. Sometimes no matter how hard they try… people won’t hire them. But hopefully they can get a skill and start their own business. Even then it’s problematic when people find out what they did.
Bc this was a bit strange. Someone goes to prison for robbery and you hire them for loss prevention? Unless your intent was to hire them for their expertise, that was just dumb. Theft was the one thing that was an automatic "no" at a company that I worked for bc you can't be trusted w anything sensitive (money, customer info).
I meant never work for family members or loan them money For some reason they feel they don't have to pay you. They never think you would sue them for it. They think you will just forget about it. His Brother is the liar. He admitted to JM that he had not paid him. At the end he said he paid him! He proudly admitted paying people who was just standing around, his brother he did pay. Good riddance! He's not a moral person obviously. If he sever ties with his brother over him suing for what he owed him, sad to say, his businessqill not succeed. People usually prosper when they do the right thing..He got so mad he said he hated him.WOW! It wasn't even $200 Hs is selfish and has no morals. Some family members want you to work for free. HE IS A piece of work.
I have to add though. The plaintiff's background started out confusing. I was wondering how why did you shoot my daddy lead to have you met your brother. I thought there would be a connection, to why he shot his daddy. 😮 Like he was messing with his wife and that's how the brother came about. Also it was crazy that his Mom would tell her Son who shot his Dad; and even stranger he asked why. If he shot his dad, he cod shoot him. It was weird to me. BUT THEN he got into the case but I am still confused about the connection.
@@angelmac5380 it definitely had to do with the mother. Nobody blames these mothers for their children bad behaviors. Now why would she tell the son that info without letting him know that man has his siblings.
@@beulahthebride8465 this is what we can only speculate. There was some missing parts. But it seems there was a connection between the shooting and him being a Brother. HE JUST didn't connect it; maybe intentionally and legally. Which is probably why the judge didn't elaborate. Most likely he was vetted before the recording. But yes, the fact that his mom would tell him that at that age, give a pretty good example on the type of mother she was. She probably had her life wrapped up in the daddy and once he was gone, became bitter and cared nothing about her son.
$90 for three 8 hour shifts???? $45 a day would be $135. If you can't pay minimum wage, you can't afford the business. If $45 is what keep bad publicity away, you Pay! Especially if it's legit. Positive word of mouth is good for business.
sounds like he didn’t pay the landlord for the the place he was cooking in at first and got evicted from it. He on the street cooking and just found a new building. Grossing 1200 per day , net 700 and wouldn’t pay that man 45$. Shut down for 2 days for court. Some people are good at WORKING, but do not have a head for business. I bet he got a big old brand new cadillac GT and a NEW house!
I wish I could make that a week and I really cook good I can burn I love to cook I cook and feed people any one can stop by and get a plate of good food from me I love feeding people it's a blessing

@@edithr08 We southern folk use that as an example. Basically he was saying that the fries will make you “stupid.” He saying that because of the case and that his brother didn’t pay him.
Judge Mathis talking about TRIPLE murderers looking for a job like we don't want those guys to stay in prison lol. He might as well say "so... how do we get serial killers employed?" 🤣

So dude shot the plaintiff's dad but introduced him to his brothers...and then the defendant said the plaintiff was telling everyone in the city, including his dad, about the situation. I know I am not focused on the right thing here but I am cOnFuSeD!
