I just bought a pair of Atlas , brand new , red , nice design , nice finish , beautiful .. BUT they both have an incredible 0.5 mm of play , now i see those plastic bushings are responsible of that , how its possible in this price range ? My previous pedals was Shimano composite , they are absolute perfection , no play at all , and four (4) time cheaper ... even if i purchase a new bushing , it will be the same diameter as old one ? Or should i made myself on my own lathe a custom teflon bushing ?
Mine have play and they have been useless to help me when i contacted them. They just told me to add more grease which helped for a few rides. I also bought new bushings. Terrible pedal tbh
I have a brand new set and the bearing in one is noisy, there are not enough spacers to adjust the crazy long pins with one spacer let along two one each. The instructions with the atlas pedals also say only use one spacer per pin. Yet you clip here shows two per pin.... ? They also do not have the washer with them to sit between the pedals and cranks. I think at this point im just going to send them back as they seem very overpriced and very underwhelming on quality control. Lesson learnt first and last raceface product i buy!
I was waiting for this video! Just in time! ❤
30 mm socket must be 6-point (ie. not 12-point) in order to fit the endcaps?
Yeah... took mine to ace hardware and the 12 point ones don't fit. I ordered a crowsfoot to torque back on.
wise to do a demo on booted carbon cranks!

very useful, thank You
I have the older version Atlas pedals. Are the service kits the same part numbers?
Different kit, check back on older videos for the previous versions service video! This video covers the AM22 model and onwards
Super complicated. Had a pin strip out already on my Atlas pedals. Will probably just buy new pedals before I do all that servicing.

How often does this need to be done?
Judging by the notchy feeling have have just got in my set, about every year and a half to two years. The old versions lasted way longer
@@jonibz1456 Thanks for the reply! I went with Race Face Ride Pedals in the end.
