For DLC, I would like to see new looks for Cal. I'm satisfied with everything else, I'd just like some cool outfits. Most of the ponchos are lacklustre, and two of the jackets are almost identical in colour.

Guys, we don't want dlc that's cosmetic, we want dlc that's an expansion for the game play. Don't be stupid and don't spend money on cosmetic dlc. That shit is destroying the game industry. The number one reason that this game is a succes is the lack of bullshit dlc.
Agreed. I was hoping for some outfits like maybe some rouge-like clothes or Jedi robes (maybe after or during Ilum) just something other than color changes. Also, I didn't wear the ponchos at all...
@@tristanvanderhoek6993 I think most people mean having different cosmetic options as a part of a story DLC. There's not much of a point to buying cosmetic dlc now that most have finished the game. I MAY play it through again in a few months, but there's not a ton of replayability to this type of game. Once you've played it, you've played it.
It seems to me that all the tomb-raiding and relics in canon lately seems to expand on the whole "The Force is more than Jedi and Sith" thing that The Last Jedi explored. Note that one of the first examples (besides Dr. Aphra) was Legends of Luke Skywalker in the lead-up to TLJ.
I wish there were side missions or mini quests that didn’t impact the main story but could be used to 100% the game, instead of just having to explore for 100%
That would be cool, like.. On Kashyyk maybe helping the resistance fighters there after your first trip and actually having some part of the facility be a safe zone or something.... (since the stormtroopers in this game are blind anyways they could stand a room away and be safe probably)
@Oktoay I don’t think the prison sequence counts, because after that almost all the planets have Haxion Brood hunters waiting to attack you, so it adds enemies and thus affects the game

Id LOVE to leave these fuks and have new people with a GOOD story thats not only well wrghitin but pretty long, not a day sit and beat on grandmaster...
I'd really like to see them take the Cere, Cal, and Merrin story kind of... sideways. Maybe have them realize that the Jedi, at least as they have been, are finished. Also, the Night Sisters are no more. Have them combine their knowledge and abilities to create a new "order" with abilities that are a mixture of the two. It would be pretty slick if in 50 years or so, after the current trilogy is concluded, a new order of force users appears with jedi stylings and abilities intertwined with nightsister magic. Also, if they stop following the Jedi tradition, they technically aren't jedi. So, what Yoda said was true, from a certain point of view.
That sounds amazing but they probably wont do that since this game is completely canon so follow up stories will most likely be canon also and have to follow that
Illum being SKB is speculation done right and what I love about this channel. No bullshit theories and instead just things taken with a grain of salt. Also, Matt Martin said it looks to be that way but he cant confirm for obvious reasons.

I really don’t understand people’s problem with other Jedi being alive during Luke’s journey in the OT. Just because they were Jedi doesn’t make Luke less special and doesn’t mean they have snowball’s chance on mustafar to turn Vader or defeat the emperor.
Luke was pretty much the only Jedi who could turn his father back to the side of good, & that’s because he’s Vader’s son. The only other person who could’ve turned him with enough time would’ve been Ahsoka if she was around in the OT due to being Anakin’s former Padawan.
I don't really have an issue with other Jedi being around during the OT, but I do think they should be gone by the ST. Not necessarily dead, but out of the picture permanently. It's very important from a character and thematic standpoint that Luke is the last Jedi.
@@mrMadHatterreviews I agree as long as they were on a separate mission in a different part of space like is Ezra in Rebels its not a big deal to me. What makes Luke special is that he's Vader's son and can sense the good in him. Cal and Cere are weak compared to Luke and have no connection to Vader. They only see him as a monster and rightfully so cuz Vader scared me in the Fallen Order game.
It's crazy going to dathomir and merrin talking about "jedi" killing her sisters and then having flashbacks to the clone wars episode where grievous invaded tbe planet
As a note the Tactical Guide Databank on the Ninth Sister in game asks “is she really dead?” The fact that they’re choosing to phrase it that way means she’s probably coming back.
She definitely coming back when u cut her hand off she says we are taught to have no set backs ( not to mention she already has an bionic foot ) and then attacks him using force still and if there's anything I learned from superheros or star wars type shit is if u don't see a body never rule them as dead lmao id put money she not dead 😂
9:01 It's been confirmed that the "lightsaber helicopters" used by the inquisitors on Malachor only worked because of Malachor's lower gravity. It probably wouldn't have worked on Kashyyyk or most other planets. Edit: But I do think that the helicopter technique could work on any planet if the inquisitor created a cushion of air with the force to float on, which would lower their weight.
I mean, not really. I think I see where they're coming from. Maybe it's something with me, but I don't understand Cal as a character. I understand why he's distraught and struggling, but... we have one duel with a vision of our Master after reliving the events of Order 66? And we've "made peace" with it? What? His development felt flat to me. I beat the game and was flabbergasted that it was that short. Ilum should've been a halfway point or 3/4th point, not one of the final missions. To me it didn't feel like the right kind of "growth" for his character. The adopted family wasn't what I thought was important to Cal, it was a mission and a sense of belonging, even if it's to a dead Jedi Order. Cal became much more emotional, sympathetic, and caring, where I expected a much more "rough & tumbled" type of character. I feel like Cal's personality or character arc was really just starting by the time the game ended. He should've had more character development.
Ashkaari The Mandalorian has said all of three words in the series’ entirety. I don’t disagree, he is an awesome character and a lot different from what you would think when you hear the word Mandalorian, but I feel that he’s not the best example lol

I'd love to see more of Cal and Merrin especially, given they're both survivor type characters, last of their kind. That's potential for something interesting.
What if in the sequel for JFO we see the "Jedi last stand" that was mentioned in the Aftermath books? It was already hinted in the game when Cal said he imagined himself going and storming Courosant with the Jedi Council. What do you think?
That's a really good idea. I could see Cal and Cere recruiting other survivors and together they invade Coruscant and try to kill the Emperor. Mainly as a distraction for the rebellion on a separate mission before the original trilogy and die in the process.
11:38 I definitely felt I was being led to think that The Stranger in Dathomir's force echoes was pre-Rebels Maul. I didn't have subtitles on, so I didn't know that Malicos was also being called "The Stranger", and held out hope that they were separate characters. - The voice in Malicos' force echoes sounds similar to Maul's _(provided you don't find one with dialogue, like I didn't)._ - The Nightbrothers wouldn't let an outsider rule them, so their new leader was likely a fellow Zabrak. - The crashed ship wreckage in the swamp looked to be blue and grey; Separatist colours. - We know that Maul visited Dathomir at some point and had an established headquarters. I knew they probably wouldn't bring someone so prolific and overshadowing into the story _(like how Boba Fett won't appear in The Mandalorian),_ but the more I found out about The Stranger, the more connections to Maul there seemed to be.
Word I honestly really thought we see him especially bc of how many clone wars reference's they showed and I'm pretty sure the time of this game he was still alive and it should be after he got tortured (by sidious bc he killed his brother and captured him ) then escaped somewhere so I thought they show that in some way and u found him or something would have been so dope but they definitely didn't forget bout him I bet in 2nd one he will be in it and if they do make a 2nd one I bet u we are gonna have to kill that black girl in our crew (sorry forget name )

Alex, can I call you Alex? I've noticed over time that we have very different philosophical views, but I've noticed something else. The best thing about Star Wars is that it brings people together from all backgrounds, young, old, conservative, liberal, religious, nonreligious, rich, and poor. Keep on keeping on man.
Playing a game as Luke after Episode VI would be interesting. It would cool to play as someone so powerful and would open up some bosses or issues that I don't think Cal would be able to handle. Plus it's Luke Skywalker...
In some future Star Wars game I would like to see a dynamic system for the story, as in a story where you, the player, have the power of choice over your fate. As in RL, it's full of ups and downs and you constantly struggle to make the best of certain situations. This would leave you on the bringe of going from the light or the dark side of the force constantly. You will learn different abilities and powers if you're more towards the light side and other abilities if you're leaning more to the dark side. I would however not wish for these abilities to disappear completely if you have obtained them at some point, but they will lose and gain their power if you're more towards the respective sides. I absolutely think there should be customization for your lightsaber, but I think it would work great with what was in this game, Fallen Order. I won't ask for it to be super complex like that in Heavy Rain or similar games, because that would be very tough to get into the Star Wars lore. xD However, there could be like 2 or 3 endings without leaving an impact on the lore.
I'd love to hear people's thoughts on this, especially after the Eno Cordova question...What did you think of the ending of the game, where Cal destroys the holocron that Cordova went through everything that he did (possibly even dying) to hide? I'm still shocked the game ended that way, especially with how the final conversation was going. Though I will admit I'm not disappointed that Cal did what he did. (and if you comment just to complain that I'm talking spoilers, why are you even here?)
I’m not surprised at all. In the first few hours of the game it’s clear Cal’s priority is to not let anyone harm the kids. When Trilla reveals her identity he says “I won’t let anyone touch them” rather emotionally”. He has an entire force vision sequence showing a potential future where they are all massacred and turned into inquisitors. He has firsthand seen the horrors of order 66. Cal used his abilities ONCE and the empire was on his ass and murdered his best friend and are relentlessly hunting him. So taking all of that I to account and his vision specifically about the fate of these children, and Cal saying he won’t let anyone touch them in the first few hours of the game, no, I’m not surprised. And personally I’m surprised anyone would be surprised if they paid attention to the game. Also, the mission wasn’t for nothing just because they destroyed the holocron. The kept it out of imperial hands and secured those children’s freedom from sith or Jedi intervention.
I assumed that was going to happen the instant the holocron was mentioned. I liked the story of the game but that particular point was obvious from the beginning, Cal is not going to rebuild the jedi order so it either falls into the empires hands or gets destroyed. Its one bad thing about having the set in stone canon spread out over so many years.
he dd the right thing. Maybe a sequel will take place after episode 6 when its time to rebuild the order. Maybe Cal will meet some of those children on the list anyway, if he just trusts in the force
@@SandyCheeks1896 it was pointless. Because the empire could not get the holocron if Cal (a jedi) would not be trusted buy the stupid dog droid. The story is dumb and pointless.
The idea of a Jedi: Luke game is so exciting to me because it could be voiced by Make Hamill. I think he would enjoy it and so would we, he deserves a chance to shine and do the character justice in the new canon.
It would be an easy way to show people in Canon how powerful Luke is. I enjoyed the Last Jedi but for fans of Legends Canon it was hard to watch Luke deal with his emotions and not use the force.
The biggest, *most humongous* missed opportunity in Fallen Order was having Merin explore the galaxy along side Cal. 😊😊Maybe it would be too complicated or expensive, but wouldn't that be nice if when the game is completed, Merin and Cal could occasionally do missions together. Idk what Malacos did with his original Lightsabers (if he brought them at all), he could've created the crystals himself.🤔🤔 (Side question: did the new cannon ditch the idea of synthetic crystals?)
I've heard people talk about how they wish there was fast travel when exploring, but what if in the next game there were different "landing pads" that were unlockable, almost like when you explore a new region. This means that when you land you could choose where on the map you would go.
5:04 I found a pattern when it comes to saber upgrades. When you get the double bladed saber, it happens right before a boss fight with the Ninth Sister who then halfway changes her single blade to two, matching your upgrade. Then on Ilum you construct the Dual Sabers and that matches with Malicos who you fight right after.
You can get it in several places. The absolute earliest is to go to Dathomir right after your first trip to Bogano instead of going to Zeffo. I wouldn't recommend it on Grandmaster...
Yeah I got it in bogano after cere says that her master could have left some more stuff for them in bogano. I think it's the best place to get it bc he goes "this is a piece of Cordovas lightsaber I'll add it to mine to remember him" but from my understanding you get it on every planet (minus illum)
Literally no one ever said that SP games are dead... only devs who want to sell you loot boxes and micro transactions. To this game the best games on the market are single player focused.
Single player games may not be dead, but local multiplayer is heading down that path. There are games out there where you literally cannot plug in a second controller and sit on the couch with your friend/family member, but have to buy your own copy of the game and play it on your own console. For games where you can have up to 40 players at once, this makes sense, but when it's 1v1?
Devs definitely don't think that. Respawn making this game so amazing is proof. It's the publishers like EA who just want your money and only accept single player games if they make a lot of money which fortunately they did
Honestly, I really like that we don't see Maul. Planets are big. Merinn's was probably a random podunk village somewhere to be completely isolated. Maybe Grievous stopped by while mopping up or sent a lackey to do it? Anyway, despite the glorious high-ground meme from his final duel with Obi-Wan, everything about Maul being still alive makes me groan.
I could see DLC being based around a final confrontation with The Ninth Sister or maybe taking down that bounty hunter crew. could see that as a small story after the end. I think answering the stories of Cordova and the Zeffo are more for a sequel.
Illum is not starkiller base, when you see Illum in the clone wars there are no trees just ice and snow when you go to the force awakens it’s nothing but trees [ but I do think the force awakens fight on starkiller base was beautifully shot and made ]
Malacos was right about the Jedi Order, and if you recall, his opinion on the Jedi is VERY similar to Kylo Ren's perspective. The Jedi don't learn. The Jedi are stagnant. The Jedi were stuck in tradition, or politics. The Jedi were lost. On and on. Very similar plot points there. Given the Fall of the Jedi, I suppose there could be many Jedi out there that actually blame the Jedi themselves for their downfall. The only Jedi in all of the ten-thousand Jedi who existed at it's height that knew how to become a Force Ghost were Yoda, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Anakin. I'm glad you related that part more to a dark side cave, and the mirror from The Last Jedi. I don't think Luke ever actually learned how to become a Force Ghost. Just how to project himself.
@@brettbaumler754 I hope a sequel gives Cal an end to his and Cere's story. I mean, up to this point, they're still around in the galaxy, there has to be a reason to why didn't they didn't help Luke and the rebellion
I don’t know if Luke is or was the last Jedi at the time of ROTJ. But him being the last was always going to be finite within the logic of the universe. Eventually a Jedi would emerge, learning how to be a Jedi like I imagine the first Jedi did. Communing with the force showing them the past and the present.
Also, about Illum. After beating the game, travel back to Illum and notice the shape of the edges near the center of Illum. The pattern is the same as Starkiller Base.
It is great to hear more of your thoughts on this great game! I hope we get to play as Merrin in the sequel. It would be fun to be able to use her Night Sister witch magic powers in addition to Jedi powers with Cal. But yeah, they could really take the story anywhere they want to go with it, as long as they make the plot and story as heartfelt and well thoughtout as the last one I'm on board!
Just wanted to say that swimming underwater with the underwater breather made my dreams come true. I’ve wanted to do that since The Phantom Menace. The underwater breather is personally one of my favorite pieces of tech ever. When I got it in the game I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t stop smiling. I remember when I watched the E3 gameplay on Kashyyyk I kept thinking to myself how I would love to swim underwater on Kashyyyk but it probably won’t happen and then it did. Perfect game. But I really want new game plus, the option to use the broken single blade hilt over the double blade hilt, and Cal’s padawan outfit. Also I have seen that some people really want the option to remove Cere’s permanent connector on the double-bladed lightsaber. I just want my broken single blade hilt back. I prefer it.
Vader gets a call. The trooper on the other end says "sorry to bother you my lord but we have a couple of invaders invading the Fortress" Vader goes "dammit I'm on my way". Whoever failed to keep the place a secret is going to get choked or stabbed.
Imma be straight I Love Marrin. Her story, and the way interacts is just so mesmerizing. I just want more play time with her (that sounds wrong, that’s not what I mean) what I mean is I want to see her experience the galaxy for the first time. Yes for a sequel. Love the Luke idea, would be neat to explore some survivor backgrounds, maybe even inquisitor stories...where we hunt Jedi 😮
According to the Ahsoka novel (and soon the final season of Clone Wars), Maul was back on Mandalore around the time of Order 66. Not sure where he went after that (haven't read the novel), but presumably he visited Dathomir at some point between leaving Mandalore and getting marooned on Malachor, since he would have to have left the Darksaber there at some point. He likely either didn't return to Dathomir until after JFO or was off doing something else during that time, and had been for long enough for the fallen Jedi to set up shop.
I'd honestly love a sequel where the crew are being relentlessly hunted by Vader and ends with Cal and Cere being killed. It would be super dark for a character you play as to get cut down but I think that would serve Canon the best.
I thought The Wanderer was Cordova, was disappointed that it wasn't. Later realizing it was a red herring. You can go to Dathomir and get the double lightsaber earlier and still not get very far or even into the temple. But who is Magus? That's the darkside looking lightsaber you earn on Dathomir. A missed opportunity is a travel bird. Right now the Shryyyo bird only takes you back to the start of the Shadowland woods.
Ilum had the pink crystal too 💗 I also thought Maul would be in the game but Merrin is great & I love Trilla's combative style. With the end do you think they shouldve kept the holocron & hid it somewhere instead?
Imo cal stopped being a jedi when he destroyed the holocron. like a symbolic moment to say that he's not the one the force wanted to rebuild the jedi order. perfectly fits with his force mirrior vision too where he saw himself as an inquisitor
I think cyan is a nod to the OT colour for Luke's and Obi-Wan's lightsabers before the prequels made them brighter. Also in Battlefront II when you have Luke with either his Hoth or Yavin Ceremony skins with the blue lightsaber next to Anakin, the blade appears to be lighter. I can't think of a canon explanation as to why it would fluctuate though.
I'm hoping that the canon "side stories" are leading up to some big conflict in the unknown regions that's keeping the Rebels crew and the JFO characters busy during the ST. My dream story arc would be all these characters fighting and defeating the Yuuzahn Vong to keep the rest of the galaxy safe from them, even if the rest of the galaxy never knows.
It’s possible Cordova, once he placed the holocron, left to seek out the Zeffo. Cal could have tried to track him, which is why he’s absent for the rest of Empire’s rule, as well as the rise of the First Order. In Rise of Skywalker he’s not among the Jedi Rey hears when she finally connects through, so he might not be dead. This might just be timing though, and Cal’s VA not being available for the movie as a voice cameo.
Probably the biggest _Oh, Hell!_ moment in the game, for me, was Merrin talking about the slaughter of the Nightsisters. I missed it the first time, but when she mentions her sisters being cut down by "An armored warrior brandishing this... (holding up Cal's lightsaber)", all I could think was, "Wait... Are they saying Vader took out the last of the Nightsisters _on his own?!"_ 😮
Hmm... I personally think that he did bleed his crystal after some time. I mean, I think Vader didn't bleed his crystal yet during the events of ROTS mostly because he was still falling. Padme was still alive, as far as he was concerned, he was still doing good, etc. Malicos had more than enough time to fall, not only that, but more than enough time for his crystal (and by extention, his lightsaber) to feel "weird" when he wields it to the point where he either had to bleed it, or stumbled upon the ritual while trying to subdue his crystal to his will.
My favorite part of the game is when Cal gets captured by the Haxion Brood. That whole gladiatorial scene along with the music from the Hu was absolutely amazing.
Something I thought was interesting was when Trilla died she said "avenge us", Maul said something along the lines of that as well when he died on tatooine
Goes to show that the pain the emperor and Vader put on people is pure corruption. When they are defeated, they can see more clearly before death and want to be avenged for the pain they’ve been given

For DLC, I would like to see new looks for Cal. I'm satisfied with everything else, I'd just like some cool outfits. Most of the ponchos are lacklustre, and two of the jackets are almost identical in colour.
Need to be arena mode to and they need to do an update where they add mad guys to each planet the game went from a 8 to 9 before u beat it to 4 or lower after u beat nothing to do but run around for ten min and fight 3 guys then do it again and it's feels even worse bc ur forced to take the same paths and ways bc of this weird ass maze design that honestly didn't bug me till I beat the game now it just makes me feel crazy
I was really hoping you'd unlock that inquisitor gear from the vision after beating the game
In canon, sure. We've explored countless cultures in Legends.
It really bothers me how much credit TLJ receives for a concept that was explored 1000x better in KOTOR 2.....
There was one, but it was just picking up a bogling
I feel like that would have thrown off the rythme of the game i guess but it would be cool
i mean the whole jail/battle/escape sequence was kind of a side mission
@Oktoay I don’t think the prison sequence counts, because after that almost all the planets have Haxion Brood hunters waiting to attack you, so it adds enemies and thus affects the game
Ninth Sister's databank in the game suggests she might have survived
I immediately became suspicious when she was pushed into the unkown.
She wasn't impaled or decapitated, she's absolutely still alive.

In the idea of Jedi: Clone Wars, I'd love to have Trilla as the main character, setting up what happened to her during the Clone Wars, and ending with her, Cere, and the Younglings just before Cere was captured.
I mean it would be pretty unsatisfying to end there. I would hope the ending sees us playing as Trilla and the final boss being a jedi she knew.
@@SandyCheeks1896 Oh yeah. That is better.
That sounds amazing but they probably wont do that since this game is completely canon so follow up stories will most likely be canon also and have to follow that
TheBurningPhoenix I agree they might not want to make that canon. But idk Disney has added some weird things to the lore before.

It’s because Yoda says in ROTJ to Luke “the last of the Jedi you will be” so I understand why people have issue with it.

You forgot about the bogling when you talked about cal creating
a new family 2:15 to 2:22
Asking if Cal has a “discernible” character arc seems passive aggressive af to me.

If you return to Ilum in Jedi Fallen Order you’ll see the planet’s early starkiller base phase. The whole middle of it has been carved out.
Technically the first time Cere touched the force in the game was a few seconds before she Knighted Cal.

I definitely felt I was being led to think that The Stranger in Dathomir's force echoes was pre-Rebels Maul. I didn't have subtitles on, so I didn't know that Malicos was also being called "The Stranger", and held out hope that they were separate characters.
- The voice in Malicos' force echoes sounds similar to Maul's _(provided you don't find one with dialogue, like I didn't)._
- The Nightbrothers wouldn't let an outsider rule them, so their new leader was likely a fellow Zabrak.
I assume Malicos tricked the Nightbrothers into thinking that he's an ally of Maul. Those guys aren't the smartest dudes in Star Wars.

"I'd like a new game + and a combat gauntlett"
that aged really wel
I was happy.
Thing is Luke is too big a character. Disney would rather do a Disney plus series with him. Probably
Idk what Malacos did with his original Lightsabers (if he brought them at all), he could've created the crystals himself.🤔🤔
(Side question: did the new cannon ditch the idea of synthetic crystals?)

Wait, did you not get the double bladed lightsaber until dathormir? I had it from bogano...
You can get it in several places. The absolute earliest is to go to Dathomir right after your first trip to Bogano instead of going to Zeffo. I wouldn't recommend it on Grandmaster...

Literally no one ever said that SP games are dead... only devs who want to sell you loot boxes and micro transactions. To this game the best games on the market are single player focused.
The devs don't want to. It's the publishers

They already have made those. One is called 'Revenge of the Sith', and the other is 'Return of the Jedi'.
Be cool if Cordova is alive because I love the actor who plays him.

Merrin is interested in both of cals lightsabers.
I’m pretty sure they are saving Maul for the sequel and it will take place right after Solo and finish what they set up at the end of solo
Not dissing the idea, but that wouldn’t serve canon at all.
@@beanieguitarguy4070 i doubt that it would happen, but in all honesty it seems logical in order to get cal out of the picture before a new hope
Ilum had the pink crystal too 💗
I also thought Maul would be in the game but Merrin is great & I love Trilla's combative style. With the end do you think they shouldve kept the holocron & hid it somewhere instead?
Maul is dead tho
I like Trilla a lot and think she’s a great character, but I called that Trilla was the Second Sister immediately as soon as Cere mentioned her
Imo cal stopped being a jedi when he destroyed the holocron. like a symbolic moment to say that he's not the one the force wanted to rebuild the jedi order. perfectly fits with his force mirrior vision too where he saw himself as an inquisitor
It would be cool to have non canon DLC content where Cal is an Inquisitor.
That would be amazing. Or maybe they know about Palpatine's secret Sith fleet?
If they do the Vong I hppe they alter them, never liked the force immune Aliens thing.
13:28 is that a possible reason why they weren't killed from Order 66?
20:40 Also loads survived after RotJ in Legends.
Are they saying Vader took out the last of the Nightsisters _on his own?!"_ 😮
Why cant I hug merrin in the game. She needs one
TheBurningPhoenix i really hope cal and merrin have some development in the relationship field within a sequel
Inquisitors:”Vader come pick me up I’m scared.”
My favorite part of the game is when Cal gets captured by the Haxion Brood. That whole gladiatorial scene along with the music from the Hu was absolutely amazing.
I would like to see how this game could possibly touch on Unleasheds' dark side endings in DLC. Seeing an alternate future with an inquisiter Cal.
