I ❤️ this compilation of writing advice! Sometimes, as writers, we get caught up in so many constraints that we lose our craft. These tips are terrific reminders... and so liberating! Thank you!
I just finished my second novel & I really needed to hear 'be stubborn'. Thanks for the videos man, your a blessing to us. That's when you know when you're living your life purpose, when it is bigger than you. Many thanks for walking in yours.
Glad it is of help to you Gary. Awesome to hear you just finished your second novel. All the best to that! Absolutely agree on living one's life purpose. Thank you for sharing and watching #BTA167 Shine
The feeling of I want to be a writer but I felt like I'm a failure. It breaks my heart but I'll still keep trying until I'm still living. I have a lot to regret but not this one. Thanks, I really love this one.
The thing to remember is to try and give up the expectations. If you have a basic money source other than writing than all you should be focussing on is what Anne said - Writing about what pains you the most and what gives you the pleasure most. Just using those two every single day and not where will this book be sold if it ever gets selected anywhere by any publisher or those demotivating questions.
As a slow reader (but avid writer), I haven't read tons of fiction. That said, I've read a lot of Paulo Coelho's books and really LOVED some of them. My first one was a gift. I can say that person sure understood me well. I'd listen to anything he's got to say. ;) Maeve Binchy sure has written a lot! This is my first time hearing her and I loved what she said. But really, they were all inspiring. TY
Truly loved this Evan... Likewise just finished first book and now working the novel... my big lesson this time around(thanks to my bestie and trusted ear... Anne Rice " Go Where The Pain & Pleasure Are: truly resonates. Thank you for continuing the work you do inspiring and growing this really amazing culture of possibilities! I also really loved the last one about Risking Rejection" cause ultimately whats the point if you don't just get out there and scream out your hopefully positive force into our universe... Anywho thanks again!
I'm glad that you're feeling inspired by our content, it means a lot. Thank you for sharing and thanks for watching! Much love. :) #BelieveNation #BTA765 Luka
James Dashnel had the best advice for me. I have a few writing projects that are getting closer to completion and the thought of getting any one of them published gives me goosebumps.
I love all the advises the video gives us. Anne Rice is my fave. To me it is a reminder. It sounds so realistic and it is what I have understood by my experience as a nonpublished writer. The other advices are helpful and full of motivation. Thanks for the video!
Thank you so much For this video, which Brings me much delight To see the intellectuals And their faces with great Noble ideas .From far east I am unable to read their Books ,but THANK GOD I satisfy myself seeing Their faces and understand The truth FACE IS THE INDEX OF MIND...
I like J.K. Rowling saying don't discourage your kids. Add to that, "to do it well will take a lot of hard work. Start reading, start writing." I love telling my students: "J.K. Rowling, 7 Harry Potter books, 400 million copies sold and read. She's got like a billion dollars. She can do anything she wants. Know what she wants to do? Write more books. That's what makes a great life." Being exactly who you are, who you've worked to be. . TIm Ferriss. yes! Anne Lamotte Bird by Bird also Word By Word. I think one's a book the other may be a seminar. Anne Lamotte says that no amount of fame or money will make up for sitting alone with a blank piece of paper, so make sure you're happy sitting with that blank piece of paper, because if you don't love that, it ain't worth it. '
Thanks for making the video. I really enjoyed the last clip, hearing about having several rejections helps me feel more confident about sending my manuscript anyway.
The book i'm planning to write is called 'Unusual Gliding Rain' It's about this unusual zebra foal named Rain, that is all black with white specks along its face, neck, and chest. She had nine big splotches of white on her back (Which later in my novel resembles her lives once she defines the laws of only stallions being the leader.) She discovers that she has a life long line in her ancestry of zebras like her. Her ma' tries to warn her of the dangers there is but Rain continues her quest. This is a book about one unusual zebra and her friend Whistle who proves everything wrong, with only two hooves. It will explain how you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. I hope I don't ditch the idea because I am a bit young to be writing a whole dang novel, but this helps. This is one of the lines, 'I felt myself place my ears flatly, almost painful. I felt my nose flare and my heart pound. It was like boiling plasma was coursing through my veins and shooting out of my glare.'
Got my first rejection today, it hurt so much. but im not giving up. im gonna write more, it won't weigh me down or discouraged me. I will make it happen!
Risk the rejection - Maeve Binchy. This one applies to all aspects of life! How many great novels were kept from us by someone's fear of rejection? We'll never know.

I do write things, I have written so many things so far, I write articles sometimes, I write my thoughts, new things I discover about my life, my experience in life, I was writing my diary about two months ago but I stopped, I had a period of time where I was writing everyting in my mind. I think about writing a book from time to time, like about my experience in life cause I love to share what I learn from life, and I write quotes as well, sometimes. I consider myself a writer, but it's kinda just nothing more than a hobby.
Keep up the GREAT work! You have no idea how inspiring your videos are!!!! Well done! I enjoyed the part that tells you to prepare for rejections :-) WOW!
Good morning Maryland. The world has changed. You can ePublish in amazon without rejection, bureaucratic delay. It is so easy to start today than it was 10 years ago. My favorite writer is Anne Rice. I am so happy she is here. She advises self-publish too. Stubborn, courage, hardwork or the simple 16 hour a day rule. Best of Luck to all aspiring writers. Thanks. #BTA269
You are right!! Self-publishing is the WAY. More like 5 years ago. Look at TH-cam now. Most of the best books published - are not through Big ones. I am just getting started using Amazon - I published mine and it is easy to do. Respect the long tail.
Thank you very much for sharing Paul, I'm sure many aspiring writers will be glad to know that. :) All the best to your writing! Glad you liked the video. #BTA166 Shine
I searched around TH-cam for inspiration for new authors and watched some awful videos. They were the opposite of inspiring. They may as well have said, "Quit trying to be a writer. Don't do it! Hello! I loved this video! Is there any way you could perhaps do one for becoming a singer or musician? Thank you for the inspiration. Love all your videos.
What about me, your video helped me a lot when I had writing difficulties! So I even shared it with my friends. Services like nerdymates are quite useful in college, but still I prefer studying by myself. I just like your channel and you make me think that education is easy every day. Thank you! Bonus part with Anne Rice - don't take no for answer and also not taking every advice.
Less is more is important as well.
As a writer with fast publishing success,
Here is what is working for me
1. Be the person you admire and dream about being, when you write
2. Outline at least small percentage of your piece.
3. When you don't know more than 5% of your subject, write about it.
4. First Master 3 literary devices
5. Get a mentor
6. Learn how the famous writer do and you do it just as good or better.
7. Use your sight to find your piece if you don't know how to begin your piece.
8. Read new work daily and dissect it to see how it was put together.
9. Get feedback from people who are not your friends or family
10. Do not judge the quality of your work unless it has sat for a while and you haven't thought of it.

Glad you like it, thank you for the comment and for watching. #BTA167 Shine

Thank you! I know that you can find a huge amount of essay writing advices and tips on writing academic researches online. In my opinion, it will help you to develop your youtube channel
Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for the love, Richard. #BTA1027 Luka

@Evan you mentioned you wish you knew these rules before you started. I'd be interested to know which of these rules resonated with you the most?

What do you do when you have different interesting book titles coming up in your mind. Do still have to focus on one book at a time.
Yes, I think you should focus on one at the time. #BTA1039 Luka
thank you so much pro..
Loved this!
"...Ignore all advice"
Then...
"Now here's some advice..."
Ok then.
Some good advices though!!
You should implement those which you think will suit best for your life. Ignore all advice stands for not taking other people's advice and making your own decisions, you should always learn from others and think for yourself. #Believe #BTA669 Luka
