Your video came at the perfect time as I was creating my first proper engineering CV to apply for some vacation training. I planned to use AI to help me write the tedious parts, which I always felt was cheating. But it just works so well though and the fact that you (Engineering Manager) recommends it, made me realize its actually a good idea. Thank you! Ironically, I read your description and realized planned to live the same life as you. I'm currently an Electrical Engineering student, soon to making my focus power systems and energy. I have also began creating a personal brand through a newsletter and a faceless Instagram page, where I aim to niche down into my passions like engineering, entrepreneurship, tech, travel, art, design, lifestyle. Eventually leaving the engineering industry after 5 years, to become a full time digital nomad making money online.😛
@skimpyy that’s brilliant! I’m very glad that it helped out. Using AI is very powerful and I think works well for this application, but be sure to make it your own. I do have another video about writing a resume the traditional way. Thanks for reading the description. I can attest that it’s a great life plan! The power industry is such a sweet spot. This is actually the main goal of this channel, to get more students to go into this field. Just curious, what part of the world are you from? As for the digital nomad part, it is one of the best adventures. I’m actually working on a video that goes over why I left engineering to be a digital nomad and back again. Thanks for watching. Please feel free to reach out if you need any help. I wish you well.
@@NenadPeter So I am from Cape Town, South Africa. Energy and Power systems are in quite the great demand here. Will be looking forward to your video about your digital nomad journey. I plan to binge watch your videos after my last exam, getting my CV and LinkedIn looking 100%. I appreciate the insight you're providing on your channel🙌. I actually do have a few more questions to ask you. Specifically about your engineering journey and just other life advice, seeing that I am on a similar path as you. But Ill wait until after you drop your digital nomad video. When can I expect it?
@Skimpyy man that’s fantastic! I’m actually a citizen of South Africa as I spent my childhood there. Beautiful country. Enjoy some biltong for me. My next video will be up tomorrow, it’s an interview with a friend of mine. She was able to advance very quickly in her young career. I should have my engineering career short story up by next week. Please ask away any questions that you have. My email is also listed in the contact me section. Thank you for watching! Best of luck on your exams. I really appreciate the support especially since the channel is very new!
