I live by the sea and we have resident seals here in the SW of England so they are still much a part of our environment. Houses were black from carbon black and the air was dirty. That's why we moved to a rural area in the BLACK Forest (LOL) when I was little and I stayed there most of my life, until I recently came back to my Birth place. My grandfather, whom I didn´t know, and my grandmother met here in the coal miners area and his last name was "Bergmann" which litterally means "miner". I still have to dig a lot to find my history/ancestors
