Have I got this right: the numbers on the bottle are not ounces, or ml, but just numbers that correspond with each other? So if its 10 on the large compartment, it must be 10 on the small one?
What I did ... went to a anything for a $1. Store bought a set of nesting mesuring spoons ...they have metric on them & I can make what ever amount I want with accuracy!
the upper scale is 10 not 5 ? so 10 is 1 litre i think you put petrol to 10 and oil to 10 for 1 litre 40-1 or petrol to 5 which is hlaf a litre then put oil to 5 that's gibe you half a litre of two stroke mix

mine says 40-1 on the top of one side ans 50-1 on the other ? and has 5 and 10 on the oil sife and petrol ?
I mixed a cap of oil to a pint of petrol and I heav never had a problem

yes for 40-1 it's 5 5 or 10 10 that will give you hald a litre or a full litre
