This is very nice. Donald Malarkey...what a great man...another in a long list of men from The Greatest Generation. I am amazed at how vivid and detailed his recollections are of events that took place so long ago.
You are my hero. Easy Company and the 506th PIR are my inspiration and remind me every morning that there really are great people in this world. I remember reading the book and watching the series multiple times and thinking to myself, how you really were the greatest generation. I would give anything to be able to meet you, Mr. Malarkey.
Don makes me smile :). What a lovely man and hope the bad memories that he had just fade away like so much chaff in the wind. I know how hard it was a times for these men to keep going and doing the right thing.
