Thanks for your reaction & analysis. That was a great version of "Mad World" & nice collaboration with The Bass Gang. Elliott Robinson is a great bass. I put him in the same league as Tim Foust & Avi Kaplan. None of them use subharmonics. He joined Home Free as the bass in 2008 for a short time before Tim Foust.

Elliott is such a fantastic bass. The Egyptian kid is Marwan, and Peter considers him to be a "true child prodigy." Coming from Peter, that's high praise. I recommend either his arrangement of "Get Down" or his duet with Casper Fox on "Moment of Silence." Next Halloween, you should check out Marwan's "This is Halloweenin 30 Styles." As an arranger (instrumental, not vocal) it's wildly impressive.

Tomi is Czech, Marwan is Egyptian, Peter and Bobby are from the US (Virginia and ... Massachusetts(?), respectively). And Casper, who is their manager/occasional collaborator, is Danish, but lives in the Czech Republic at the moment. So he and Tomi collab a lot from what I've seen.

The black t-shirts are when the singer is in lead. White is when they're BG.

Oh that last note, i think Peter mentioned, that each of the guys used a different technique, chest, chest fry, sub harmonic, growl, and maybe inhale. I could be wrong and it may have been Tomi in an interview when Mortius reacted.

All of these guys Can sing, super low and super high. You can tell this is an older video for them by listening to Marwan‘s voice. He was probably 17 or 18 when they made this.
Also, This is totally a cappella. Marwan was probably doing the beat boxing. He can pretty much do everything.
Another interesting thing is that when they recorded this, they had never actually met in person. Which makes the final product just that more amazing.
Peter stated in one of his reaction videos that they have just recently started adding instruments to their songs.
Yes, they do go subharmonic. Sometimes they’ll throw a vocal fry in there .However, if you want a cool Portrayal of all of their Low voices check out “ My jolly sailor bold”. “Let’s not talk about Bruno” is a fun one to watch.
And not to diminish any of the others keep your eye on Marwan. He is the Mozart of today. Check out his.” This is Halloween in30 styles” and “ Jingle Bell rock, in eight different styles” From three years ago. He does the arrangements, the recording, the mixing the mastering the filming and the editing on both of these songs. All before he was 20 years old.
After all is said, and done these four Are definitely voices to watch. They each do their own stuff On top of the Bass Gang. Along with all of the collaborations they do. Busy busy And we so love what they choose to share with us.
I’m super glad you decided to check these guys out. I look forward to your next reaction to them.

I'm fairly certain both Tomi and Peter has mentioned that drum samples were used in the part at 12:45.

Each of them arranges. So for instance on an album, they'll have four songs. One arranged by Bobby, one by Tomi, one by Peter, and one by Marwan. And yeah, they not only know each others' ranges and capabilities, but push each other a bit. :) Casper Fox also has arranged at least one song that he guested on, recently.

Another two I enjoy is Centuries and Yellow Flicker Beat. Of course, the 4 Disney ones - Arabian Nights - Marwan, Be Prepared - Tomi, Gaston - Peter, Friend Like Me - Bobby.

    White shirts = Higher notes
Black shirts = Low notes (basically just the bass 😂)
I think that's what the shirt color changing mean 😅

Interesting, wonderful play of the various voices, but somehow the song itself gets lost among all of that play. The emotion inherent to this song just doesn't come through to me.
