    I'm sure I stop breathing on the tee! Too many other swing thoughts happening! :). Will re-adopt the breathe in and then breathe out, and swing more relaxed. Thanks for the reminder!

      It’s incredible Frank, look at your friends when they tee off and I’m sure you’ll see them holding their breath, the feel is so different when you breath out 👍

      It’s a fantastic experiment and the feel of the swing completely changes

    Great video. Interestingly in Pilates, you breath out to focus on the core. And in hypnosis to relax. I must put this into practice.

    This is so true. And the same in rifle shooting and archery.

      I would say it’s true for most activities Peter. I can see the benefit for rifle shooting too 👍

    Works every time I try it Julian. Difficult to get my body and brain to relax every swing though.

    Thank you for another valuable video.
    Everybody can breathe out so this idea should benefit all sports players.
    Jo made a useful contribution as well as keeping you up to scratch.
    I am looking forward to reading your book which should be a great overview/ summary of your proper golfing method.
    Even I can breathe out. 81 years old & just learning to breathe !!

      I was practicing it a lot yesterday and what a difference it’s making, thought I was relaxed before but this is a whole new level

    Asking a playing partner whether they breathed in or out on their downswing was one of the old time disruptive questions to interfere with their concentration

    There is a sweet spot. If you empty your lungs out totally that is almost like introducing tension the other way. I think your best results would be to breathe out as you are swinging....

    You forget to mention one thing out of the meditation world: breathing out and hit while keeping your breath out is also a technique to stop thoughts. It’s difficult to think when keeping the breath out….

    I find my swing to be more relaxed by breathing in and then breathing or gently blowing out during the swing.
