I tried beginners cardio workouts and after two months I got a median menscus tear in one knee and ACL pain and instability on the other knee. Apparently, even beginners workouts are NOT for any beginner!! Isometric exercises are my next move after my recovery.
That bent one arm hold was really impressive, I’ve been trying to work my way up to a one arm pull up for a while now but I haven’t been able to do that
Same here. They say once you can hold for a minute, you get one arm pull ups for free plus your tendons are made strong as hell from static holds. The hard part is getting to that level though
I had a stroke with blood pressure raised so not wanting medication will look at isometrics further. Thank you in advance as well if you have any advice to get started?
I've been doing this with lots of holds and my over all flexibility, range of motion without poppimg, stability, and joint health has sky rocketed. I am concerned about my knees though doing isometric holds, I actually don't know how long I can safely do it, (I know you work up to longer holds of simply more time overall) but since joints heal slower (soft tissues) how long am I supposed to heal for? For my wrist it was recommended 30 second holds per work out 5 times then a 6 hour break minimum. My knees I'm doing 1 minute holds so maybe I simply over exerted. I'm curious to learn more
Hypermobility is not good. You can tell he is hypermobile by the way his elbow points in the wrong direction during that first hold. It causes weakness in joints and easily stretched tendons (not good)
It would be great if you would do a book with all of the different levels for stretches/exercises

I have triceps tendonitis for a week now what exercise you recommend for me?
and thanks for the great content
I see that you yourself are hypermobile. My grandkids are as well. I did not know isometrics helped with tendon strength
So what is the difference between being flexy and hyper mobile?

What are some trustworthy sources I can learn these sorts of things?
This channel! 🎉
Lmao 😂
That's not david spade?
it definitely decreases blood pressure
I am severely hyper mobile
I sometimes wonder if I’m considered to be on the EDS spectrum.
Nah...and i thought i was strong 😱😱😱
Do you have videos of this? Wtf
how much weight can you lift?
Hey David, do you do weight training at all for strength?
This guy is strong as hell, but his muscle ain't that bug.
He should do a max hold rest for 30 second, then do max reps
your mom is the strongest stander ever
Do I stretch after the isolatics ?
