This can apply to writing software or web development code:
"An amateur writes garbage code and quits when he's criticized."
"A professional writes garbage code but keeps going even when he's criticized."
    Thanks Chazz I'm not quitting.

OMG. Truer words have never been spoken. "An amateur writer is one who writes garbage and stops. A professional writer is one who writes garbage and keeps going." Thank you so much, Chazz, for articulating so concisely how I've tried to describe a writer's life for so many years. It's all about the re-writing, and the courage to cut what isn't necessary. So beautifully said.

Hi, Chazz! It’s Dee( Miss Dee). Your pod casts are so honest, and enlightening for not only people looking to be screen play writers, but for all those starting out. Everyone must start at the beginning, never give up on your dreams, everything takes hard work, diligence, and respect for those who have made it, and offer their suggestions. Love your podcasts, and hearing your experiences. Mille Grazie!

Gino's! I've become friends with Jerome by visiting the neighborhood and the locations from the story. I agree, the best! The Cannoli King and Cappuccino Queen! They don't come much better than Jerome and Joanne

Mt. Carmel is a beautiful church. I went to the Italian Mass there the last time I was visiting. Jerome told me one of the priests is a newscaster in NYC? Or maybe he is a deacon.

Get Dion on the show to talk about the neighborhood. There will be no more generations coming out of that neighborhood and our specific brand of culture that was cultivated there is going away. You should capture that with 2 success stories having a conversation. Talk about everything. The good, the bad and the ugly.

You're right, Chazz! These are classic movies to be sure. That truly were ART in all caps'. They will be enjoyed and studied till the end of time. As will "A Bronx Tale". PS: I sit mesmerized watching great classic movies without the sound on all the time. It brings out a whole new perspective. Like being blinfolded accentuates your sense of smell and hearing. Great show topic, pal!

Hey Chazz, love listening to your stories ,and love your work ,you seem like a nice guy. I'm from the UK and have followed the story of the Bronx tale. The wasted talent message was ironically true in relation to Lillo ,I've watched his interviews ,and he really has turned his life around, I find it sad that this happened he seems like a good guy .It would be so great if you could do an interview with him, I've read before that you wouldn't ever speak to him again or have anything to do with him.
But how powerful would it be if you forgave him on the podcast, i think we all could benefit from this with the way the world is today.
    Many thanks ASH

Chazz i could listen to you all day long , my story of you , in the Bronx Tale you spoke " Mickey Mantle doesn't pay your rent " and in it you sold the soap , but that kept ringing in my brain , and discovered the way you said Mickey Mantle's name only a born bred and raised Yankee or New York Giants fan would say that and sure enough i saw the Yankee hype video that you did and for the life of me when in the Bronx tale when the Yankees finished in last place and the younger you said nobody cared , well as a kid i did , like you i rooted for the Yankees in good times and bad but they always find a way back on top , just like you did with your life and career , and i always use the Horace Clark and Roy White years as fuel to never say die to my heroes the Yankees , the Giants and definitely YOU !!! like in Vince Lombardi Jr.'s book " The Lombardi Rules , What It Takes To Be #1 " On this earth we all owe each other respect , and compassion because like the old Italian proverb states " When we're all dead we will all smell alike " Thank You !!!!
