Thanks Walton Guerrero, for the great work on my 09 Town & Country. for those skeptics out there, my Chrysler showed damaged key a few months back and then 2 weeks ago my 2nd key failed they same way. I did some research and found that my wireless ignition module (WIN) was the most likely cause. I found Walton Guerrero's videos and was skeptical myself, but decided to risk it because of all the positive reviews. I contacted Walton about my problem he quoted me $249.95 to fix my WIN Module and add another key. I shipped off my WIN and my last remaining "damaged" key on a Thursday and had it back on Wednesday (shipped via USPS 2 day Priority) So what i'm trying to say is you can trust Walton! Thanks a million Walton.
So if I needed to replace the skreem in my 2010 Dodge Avenger how would I go abt reprogramming it to my current key? I put in a remote start and then after that my car will crank but immediately die with the security light flashing, even without the remote start hooked up.
Walton - this is a great video on how to get that ignition module out, however, the problem we are having is where is the active retainer to remove the key cylinder. Can you help with a picture?
Um.... the piece of plastic around the ignition chamber does not come off with the dash. It appears to be connected all the way to the other side of the steering column with the piece of plastic around the trunk release
I’ve got a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I bought a used WCM from the junkyard. I have a scan tool that I can use to program this module to my car. I’ve gotten the skim pin from the dealer for my car but that pin is not working when I’m trying to program this new to me wcm. Do I need to the skim pin for the vin that this wcm came from in the junkyard ?
thank you for posting this video that cylinder is in the way of the cable I need to disconnect to install a harness for a remote start ..........I would of ended up sending back the remote start till I found this video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FYI it is completely different for a 2008 dodge advenger to remove the front panel and steering column. I had to remove much,much more than the video showed. It was a very helpful video but it would have even more helpful to see how you released the electrical wires from the ignition rather than the directions at the end. Thanks for the video.

I would make sure the remote start is installed correctly and that the skreem module is not damaged.

wow even after removing the screws the cylinder is still locked in place

El wero. This vehicle had crank but NO Start. Security Light was flashing when key left in RUN position.

Why are trying to remove cylinder? In a lost key situation, just make the key first. If skreem is bad, replace it after.
