Nice first product review. You can't go wrong with Autoglym, they are a very well established brand in the UK and have a multitude of products. I have a few of their products but particularly like their ceramic spray.
Yes the shipping cost would push the price up significantly so definitely worth waiting for the deals. I also use Meguiars which is a US brand and we have the same additional cost due to shipping.
@@simonbuckingham752 I focus a lot on interiors, so I love their 3-step line of fabric cleaner; Terminator, Carpet Bomber, and Finisher. Just great products. And their Xpress Interior cleaner is not as strong as others, but works great too.
Loved it bro. The intro was awesome. CHEEKY BRITS had me. Hahahaha. Awesome video Brent. I will need to get this because BMWs are notorious for brake dust. I’m fighting with those wheels at times.
Greetings Sir from New Zealand! Auto Glym has the Royal Warrant from the late Queen of England and now HRH King Charles. If you find a product with the Royal Warrant-it'll be excellent no matter what. During the war, the late Queen Mother loved Tabasco sauce. When she couldn't get it; she gave them a Royal Warrant-end of story-she got her Tabasco sauce!
Jason told me I should check that one out. Their products aren't available on Amazon or on my usual places I buy. I will have to see where I can get them.
Hey Scrapper, great products from Autoglym used them a lot being a Brit myself. As for our last comment, the Bissell did great on the son’s car , pulled out a lot of dirt I must say👍
Autoglym claims they are safe on all laquered wheels. I have not personally used it on all wheel types yet, so I cannot speak specifically to aluminum wheels.
AG has been around for a good bit. I've used those super resin polish and still have some left. It's a great brightener and holds up for a good while. Check it out if you ever get a chance! And look for their videos too. Great review Scrapper.
@@ScrappersDetailingThanks for taking the time to reply. I was actually interested in the device you used just before that brush, to clean the inner surfaces of the alloy wheel. Apologies for the confusion.
Hey, had to see what an American says about our Auto Glym product. I've had to order attachments for a Ryobi pressure washer in the states because I can't get them in the UK so I feel your pain. The accent you couldn't understand is a "Brummie" accent the show is based in Birmingham, West Midlands England and it has it's own accent
Yeah, the trade distance seems to be a problem, but funny enough, I have no problem getting any product from China I want easy. It is quite an interesting accent.
Advice on brake dust that is PROPER stuck. Had bonding brake on the aforementioned corner and after using a few different wheel cleaners on it, it doesn’t seem to budge. Thanks in advance.
I have seen Larry from AMMO NYC use some 0000 steel wool with oven cleaner on extremely caked on brake dust. Now, that means the wheel would also have to be polished afterwards because the steel wool will leave very small scratches. Here is the episode where he does it, th-cam.com/video/hhAzHCVdAN4/w-d-xo.html starts at about 7:30. Very good info in that.
Virtually clean wheels, you need to review it with dirty wheels. For the cost here in the UK I thought it was poor.Always need a brush to clean your wheels so in all honesty many cheaper products do a better job.Wear Gloves when using those chemicals
True, it wasn't the dirtiest vehicle. I tested them out on our own vehicle. I don't like testing products on other people's vehicles. (I want to know how they work before I try them for a paying customer.)
Agreed. I will see how long it lasts. I really was able to use a LOT less of it than some other iron removers I've used. The gel-like consistency made a big difference.
@@joe.olivet Since I recorded this, I've been looking at other wheel cleaners and they are all EXPENSIVE. I want to test out the Gyeon Quartz Wheel Cleaner next and it's $34.99 for 1000mL which is 1L according to my US metric conversion :) So even more expensive :(
