- Read here how you can do this trek by yourself www.tim-tense.com/trek-song-k...
Song-Kul is a beautiful alpine lake in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan. There are several options to get there and one of them is by walking. I started from the Kyzart Pass and made my way to Kelimche valley in this video and I slept for the first time in a Yurt.
0:00 Intro
0:30 Shared taxi from Kochkor to Kyzart Pass
01:49 Start hiking from Kyzart Pass
09:06 Swimming in ice-cold mountain river
13:07 Arrival at Yurt camp in Kelimche Valley
16:27 Tour or a typical Yurt camp in Kyrgyzstan
21:19 Dinner at Yurt camp
In the next video I will go to Song-Kul and stay with a local nomadic family.
Enjoy watching!

It's insane! And the river was cold but damn, I really needed that!
@@timtense looked so good man, gotta say your videos are put together so professionally there great.
@@EllisWR thanks mate, I appreciate that!
Great video once again. There were a couple of times when you said it was pretty ‘intense’. I think you should brand it instead as pretty ‘Tim-Tense’ 😂
Thanks for the support! Hahahaha maybe I should! 🤣
You have started learning the language! 😂😂👏
Haha I have to 🤣
I watched your video after reading your blog. Thanks for the effort, your videos and blogs are really helpful :)
Happy to hear that! I'm glad you enjoyed my blog as well!
Man, you got some stunning shots here.
Thanks a lot. Kyrgyzstan is beautiful 😍

Thank you very much. I'm having a blast!
Good man🤝👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🔥
I really like your videos, they look like real short films with love for details. Thanks
Thank you very much. I appreciate that! I love making longer videos, it's a different style.
Good luck in your travel adventures in my homeland! Greetings from Toronto, I miss my homecountry. The night sky is fabulous in Son Kul, hope you were lucky to experience it.
Thanks a lot. It's a beautiful country. I saw the night sky and indeed it was gorgeous!
Watching my homeland videos from US. I didn’t know how beautiful was my land when i lived there
You should come back to explore!
Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩♥️
Love from Belgium!
this is awesome man, can't wait to put the second part later on for dinner🔥
That will be great! So did you get to the waterfall?
@@timtense tomorrow, god punish me and the overdose of beers and cognac 😂🔥
@@lifenumber6 hahahaa it happens 😅
I like your video! I'm sure they were thinking, "who is that crazy guy?" 🙂 I admire your bravery for doing such an adventurous trip! I don't blame you for filtering the water, you could get what Americans call 'beaver fever". Even if the water comes from the mountains, deer upstream can cause you to get sick.
Thank you )
Thank You!
добро пожаловать наш солнечный Кыргызстан. приезжай ещё раз и своих родителей тоже привезите.
Paxmat! I might come again! It would be lovely! Not sure if I could convince my parents to travel that far though 😅
Hey, would please let me know like how did you got along with the local family? I am traveling in the month of May and looking forward to live with a local Kyrgyz family and to interact with them and get to know their lifestyle and everything. That would be great if you could help!
Iron man bro! Good luck!
Thanks a lot 💪🏼
