    The thing I like most about this video is that you’re not concerned with the “right” triad pairs, but rather how you can use the materials in interesting ways. Thanks

    Hi Daniel,
    I have been trying for over a years to get some influencer to enhance my playing ability and dive into jazz and fusion guitar playing.
    Your lessons are just the most advanced and yet simple and understandable .
    So simple that they encourage you to sit down and just practice.
    This specific lesson is a great start for composing music as well.
    Thank you.

    I’m really appreciating the vibe of your work, Daniel. I’m starting to work some of your lines into my re-start of regular guitar practice. The new practical theory understandings may also transfer to the keyboards. I’m looking forward to buying a course or courses at some point. I’m currently working on integrating quite a backlog! Thanks again, and keep up the good work!!!

      @@WeissGuitar There's a topic that fascinates me and it's not very popular: how to practice to have a nice structure for a solo. All the players I love have an amazing sense of storytelling in their solos.
      I did a video about that a year ago, but I'd like to see what's your take on the topic.
      If you're ever curios about my work, this is my vid: th-cam.com/video/L3LUmb4ggYk/w-d-xo.html

    Fm over Am - is that Harmonic Minor Lydian?

    • @Livsie
      @Livsie 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, why do you think its Harmonic Minor Lydian? It does look like Harmonic Minor to me because of G#(or Ab for Fm triad), but I don't see any Lydian here. Daniel, what do you say?

      String bending within a jazz phrase? Not much going on there I've heard recently, other than at phrase starts and ends, if at all. I usually nick stuff from sax players.

    • @WeissGuitar
      @WeissGuitar  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@icarusi Hi Icarusi,
      Yes! nice idea actually, so like maybe "uncommon effects in jazz guitar that people should use more, .. type of thing? Then include the string bending examples, etc..
      Honestly I rarely bend in jazz,
      more when things get fusiony ..
      Im in love with how Scott Henderson does it!
