Great dive. Most don’t understand the concept of dropping divers on different spots a distance apart. Common practice in commercial spearing. Can be trouble but got to work through it. Great reward waiting that second one out. They usually appear for me when I’m up 50’. I was thinking about Dan’s video (bait ball) wile you were un-shafting that second fish and I saw the bait sinking.
I was a hunter most of my 65 years and although I stopped a few years back, I still love it , respect it and back in my prime couldn't have stood only being a spectator to this. If I was a grouper this is the real estate I'd be on. I wanna thank you for taking me down with ya. Stay safe my friend.
That's a couple of nice fish right there! And don't you just hate it. You come up and the boat is a 1/4 mile away. WTF? The problem with that is if you have problems, help is a long ways off. A good captain would be right there when you come up to offer assistance should you need it. I had one time back when I was diving, I came up and I couldn't see ANY boat in any direction! The shore (east coast diving off Palm Beach) was about 2-3 miles away, and I said well, I guess I can make the shore but it's gonna take awhile. Thankfully, the boat finally showed up. All's well that ends well I guess.
@@Mike-hb4pc I was losing it when I saw that. I suppose it's bound to happen, I ve fished enough offshore and seen the current at times really bad. On the surface is when I would feel most venerable. It's amazing how fish blend in even when only feet from the surface and they are accustomed to staying just out of sight while positioning for maximum effect. I'm not trying to be a dark cloud on a beautiful trip, just being realistic. These guys and gals I've enjoyed watching really have their system down to science , you have to admit and give it to them. They don't waste time , get what's best first then get back out before all that could be around is. Its so captivating to watch and I get a fishes perspective of my days offshore.
The boat was on top of the other Diver that went in the water first. Mine was just a shorter dive so I had to get their attention. They were expecting him up first though, and he was near the surface on his safety stop
Quick drops and no one wants to pull the anchor. We dropped two people on two different spots and they were just on top of the other guy who dropped first.
The first diver was on a stop close to the surface. He dropped first so they figured he would be up first. He must have stayed down a little longer and had more deco than I did.

They packed up at the end and made a tight ball. Probably why the tuna were there.

It’s amazing some of the structures I’ve seen out in the deep. Some of them are completely loaded with Fish and Life in general. It’s so amazing.
That looks like a cool place to dive. Great catch.
Definitely a cool spot.
Bro amazing! You make it look easy. Very nice fish!
Sometimes it works out well sometimes it’s a struggle
Great spot and awesome catch!
Thank you
Nice shots bro. I'm headed out today to get some. Question: Do you do this commercially or do you eat all the meat??!!
Most is Commercial, but we do some recreational trips. This trip was recreational.
It's that the Contender Dan and Ricky dove off years back?
No, this one is Rob Murphy‘s but he talked with Dan to see what he liked and didn’t like about his old boat when he was building this one

I was just ready to get out of the water and didn’t see anybody climbing on
Well played
@@velomaster5901 got lucky with the second grouper for sure
Bro. You could drop in on Lake o and come up with a black I swear. Lol. Nice work! We’ll see what this storm did out there……
I sent some numbers to someone asking out there once. Wonder if they ever found anything
@@jasonbihari hilarious!
Wow!!!
It’s definitely amazing down there

Thanks for watching
Bom dia meu brother
What's the reason you don't anchor on top of it?

@@jasonbihari cool! I was just wondering! Pretty work on those fish!
Thank you sir
