  • $35 Dollar Tree Shopping List
    Mixed Vegetables
    Green Beans
    Seasoning Blend
    Beef Patties
    Sausage chub
    Smoked Sausage
    Garlic Bread
    Pasta sauce
    Alfredo Sauce
    Pasta of choice (penne)
    Dry black beans
    Dry white rice
    Corn Tortillas
    Mozzarella cheese
    Rotel
    Vegetable Bouillon
    Biscuit mix
    Country gravy mix
    Taco seasoning (3 pack)
    Pancake mix
    Hazelnut spread
    Soy sauce
    Buddy Bars
    Spicy Nacho Fieras
    Sonic Jello (cherry limeade)
    Extra butter popcorn
    Lemonade drink mix
    Black tea (60 bags)
    Day 4 Meals:
    Breakfast: Pancakes & Hazelnut Spread
Mix 3/4 cup of pancake mix with 1/2 cup of water. Pan fry pancakes on low heat until cooked through and drizzle with warm hazelnut spread. (makes 4 pancakes)
    Lunch: Fried Rice
Reheat cooked rice for 1 & 1/2 minutes in the microwave
    Dinner: Italian Soup
Brown beef patties over medium high heat, drain and rinse thoroughly under cold water, this helps to remove some of the salt/seasoning on the patties so they don't interfere with our recipe.
Sautee 1/2 cup of frozen seasoning blend and add back in beef crumbles. Add 6 cups of water, 1 cup of pasta sauce, 6 teaspoons of bouillon and 1 cup of frozen vegetables. Can be mixed vegetables or green beans, your choice. I did 1 cup of finely chopped green beans. Season well with pepper and bring to a boil. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes then stir in 1 cup of dry penne pasta and continue to simmer for 10 minutes until pasta is tender. Stir in 1 cup of alfredo sauce and season with additional salt/pepper/bouillon to taste.
    Serve with garlic bread
Snacks for the day: spicy nacho fieres & buddy bar (jello wasn't quite ready yet)

Having a good selection of herbs & spices is a cheap way to turn your bland food into something more enjoyable. A good selection is not something you should be without. Find your favorites and keep them in stock! 😊

I will definitely try that jello. Seems like it would be good.
The pancakes thing would probably be good as a stacked birthday cake breakfast - pancake, a layer of Nutella, another pancake, a layer of peanut butter, another pancake, a layer of cream cheese frosting, and then slices of strawberries and bananas sprinkled across it, maybe cherries, maybe some sugar flowers, maybe sprinkles.
I did that towel thing with my dog once. She had so much fun with it....
Fun fact: Cheetos are made using the same manufacturing process as dog food.

I’m not sure if you are referring to dog kibble at the end or not, but I learned over the last year that the ultra-heat process used to create doggy kibble creates a carcinogen in the kibble. I wouldn’t be surprised if Cheetos were a carcinogen for the same reason if they use the same process.

I always find syrup to be to sweet, so an alternative for the pancakes: applesauce. I love this as an option because, if it's no added sugar so not too sweet and it's a great way to introduce fruit into a low nutrition meal like pancakes!

If you're making a large batch of pancakes or waffles, my favorite way to reheat them is in the toaster. It's warm, and it crisps up the outside a bit so it feels more like fresh pancakes in your mouth. It's my favorite reheat quick breakfast, so I'm really glad you mentioned it! 😁

His kids only come to visit twice a year because they have school otherwise. So yes, when they come to visit. 2) I won’t be sharing his kids on video when they are here because their mom doesn’t want me to and that is 100% her choice and I am totally fine with that.

@@DollarTreeDinners No, I wasn't commenting on the lack of kids in the video I 100% get that. They just seemed an aside and I guess, as a mom and step-mom, I am sensitive to anyone who minimizes the little humans we are blessed to have in our lives.

My goodness!!!! You have done us a all such a kindness by sharing these recipes and overall life tips with us. My partner passed away unexpectedly last year, so I couldn't really afford going to Kroger every week even though I am working full time. These recipes are a lifesaver!!

I made the fried tacos you showed in another video, I used chili instead of beans because my husband will not eat beans but I kept everything else the same. Girl they were so good. We both loved them.

This is my first video of yours that I'm watching. I'm here from Tiktok!! I really love your videos!! I love getting to know you more than the couple of minutes we see you on TikTok!! Your babies are so cute!! You seem like the sweetest person I've ever met! Keep up the great work, you're killing it. Hearing the babies isn't a bother, to hell with anybody that they aggravate!! Love from Louisville Kentucky 🥰 💙 ❤️ 😍 💕 ♥️

I made this with Lima beans because that’s what I had…reminiscent of mama’s minestrone! Maybe some grated cheese if anyone has…delicioso!!! Thank you ❤❤❤

If you could choose two all-time favorite items from the Dollar Tree, what would they be?!

    • @DollarTreeDinners
      @DollarTreeDinners  ปีที่แล้ว +8

Hmm top 1 is definitely the vegetable bouillon, it’s an excellent price, versatile, adds a ton of flavor to almost everything. I don’t think i would have gotten this far in the week without it. I think the 2nd is actually the frozen pepper stir fry which sadly I haven’t seen at my actual store in quite a while but I’ve seen it at other dollar trees. I also think it’s an excellent value and so versatile and I love peppers and onions. The seasoning blend I use a lot but it’s got celery in it which can sometimes overpower other flavors like in Spanish foods

I LOVE the pepper stir fry. I buy multiple bags everytime I go. Another great idea for the breakfast would be to buy the chocolate chunks. You could precook some “pancake” chocolate chip muffins to reheat quickly. Also, I’m only half way through the week but the Texas Corn Bread mix and hot dogs in a muffin pan make a delicious mini corn dog meal.
