still think that the big plot-twist is going to be that Zacks PoV will be revaled as the "true events" of FF7. What I mean is this: In FF7R we saw the whispers fixing certain changes to the events, like, for example, saving Barrett from his too early demise. BUT: We also saw that they weren't just repairing history - They were changing it, too. We could clearly see that they made sure Jesse doesn't survive the attack from Shinra, and in the end it was also revealed that Zack, without the plotghosts intervention, would've survived his encounter with the Shinra-forces, too. So, with that in mind, and the fact the whispers are gone after FF7R happened, it leads me to believe that the world is reverting back to how things were supposed to play out. Zack originally was supposed to go on a journey which lead him to hopefully defeat Sephiroth - Not Cloud and company. So the line about "Living in a dream" from the new trailer might actually spell it even out. It isn't Zack who is in a "false reality", it's Cloud and his friends, who just got put into that position by the "Will of the planet" with the help of the whispers. This also would mean that the planet changed events around for a reason, implying that Zack and his potential companions FAILED in some way when they took on Jenova/Sephiroth, hence why they got put out of the picture in the first place and replaced by Cloud and his friends.
No the true events are the original game. Zack is dead. If that’s the twist it would be stupid, and get shit on by everyone. Because then you really are tarnishing the original game and it’s legacy and characters.
as we enter the final stretch, and this game is slowly becoming a real physical entity that exists, it is my most sincere hope that everyone who is as excited as i am finds something they really love in this game and that we all have a good time. come what may, itll definitely be pretty unforgettable, and riding out the hype cycle with everyone has been such a blast. especially you guys who put out such awesome hard work for the rest of us. for as fussy as ffvii fans are by very nature, it feels like a pretty damn good time to be an ffvii fan.
To be totally honest, I'm suprised you guys haven't thought about the moment we see Aerith seemingly hand Cloud the white materia as the re-imagined moment after temple of the ancients when Cloud is unconscious in Gongaga, and talks with spiritually to Aerith in the forest outside the Forgotten Capital in the OG; which I have a HUGE feeling that this moment in particular is in my opinion. Anyone else's thoughts?

I wonder what is going on with the bird motif. Obviously we have stuff like angel wings being in the compilation since OG but there have been many cases where birds are highlighted or feature as a fetish/decorative piece of the game. The start of Remake, at the start and end of the Intermission DLC, the background of Upper Junon, the patches on Yuffie's butt, in the Shinra Manor (staircase ornamentation), then there are birds which guide players to life-stream fonts, Minerva etc.
Interestingly,the whole "ransom note" thing in the original compilation was from a book and revolved around the "original" kadaj, or rather, the real person who's physical appearance kadaj stole when he manifested
Now I'm wondering if the Sephiroth that confronts Zack is actually a whisper that Sephiroth is manipulating with Jenova's illusion abilities. Perhaps he can be active in both worlds without needing to have a physical presence in both worlds? That or he's just hopping around chrono trigger style which would just seem too comical. This REEKS of lifestream shenanigans too. I suppose it is possible that Sephiroth has achieved a level of "Darkseid" higher being status and he can utilize multiple avatars at the same time, which is terrifying. This game's gonna be insane. We already have to clones for that role, why would it be a whisper? Nearly every time we see Sephiroth it's actually one of the robed figure clones (same as the original game) Everything else you said sounds likely, just with that one correction.

i think for what it's worth the only time Cid was ever really a dick was when he was talking to his poor assistant he blamed everything on. Otherwise he was just kind of a slightly gruff dude. I don't really like the hillbilly accent for him, but I guess that's what square thought was right for him

It’s implied that he hasn’t been promoted because he doesn’t follow orders. For example, decimating Shinra infantry in order to help/fight Cloud in part 1.
That's almost certain to happen with the way the story is progressing. They are leaning into the fact that cloud is one of the robed figures that just got lucky that he ran into someone he knew to ground him.
underwater, airship, up to several missing regions, cid and vincent, triple attacks, eikon-level fights but with the party, potential of multiple parties with separate stories, a twisted world to reflect Meteor approach more starkly, all remaining summons and then some, deeper dungeon areas (Rebirth seems to focus more on overworld), maybe features like 'crisis points' to respond to emergencies, etc.
I didn't realise they were at the Forgotten Capital with the One-Winged Sephiroth until you paused it, I thought it was another Crossroads area like Remake xD

So normal sephiroth is after the black materia, what if future sephiroth is after the white materia? So like in this timeline of events cloud hands both black and white materia to sephiroth in the northern crater?
(I have explained parts of this theory slightly better in the comment bellow) I have a theory that the reason why the timelines or a version of the Lifestream comprised of memories are now fucked is because the first time Zack died, Aerith wasn't aware of Zack's death, because of the Jenova cells not allowing him to return to the Lifestream. However, at the end of Crisis Core she uses Great Gospel which helps Zack's soul return to the Lifestream because we know it can heal Geostigma and cleanse people of Jenova cells. So, he's either stuck in the Lifestream where Aerith was meant to eventually be reunited with him which we see at the end of Advent Children, we know the Lifestream is comprised of all the knowledge and memories of people that have died there, and or alive within it. As Zack returning to the Lifestream has now happened before the end of Advent Children aka faster. Which if we remember at the end of FF7 the original we see Aerith in the exact same position opening her eyes in front of the mako pipe from the beginning potentially with renewed knowledge of what will play out. So, she breaks it to save Midgar. She's probably scared of the sky because she doesn't want to see that all the plates get ripped off, and Midgar end up destroyed as Holy did the opposite of it's intended stopping of meteor; allowing Midgar to be destroyed because it was the biggest threat to the planet at that point and or she knows using Great Gospel on Zack caused a whole mess. At the end of the game Aerith rallies the Lifestream. I think she intentionally is pushing Tifa and Cloud to recall their love for one another so Tifa can heal his mind faster which I think we'll see her flirt with Cloud more to make Tifa act faster. We've seen him throw her in the Lifestream or her fall in or whatever, he then screams and probably jumps in to save her. Starting that process earlier. The Aerith that appears to Cloud in chapter 14 and tells him what he feels for her isn't real she knows he's emulating Zack. So, she's pushing harder for Tifa to admit her feelings before the Mideel incident... Maybe just an idea. If Aerith can get the party to power down Midgar in the return to Midgar section which is presumably going to happen as it did in the original in Part 3 with this renewed knowledge and the party knowing they will shut down need to shut off all of Midgar's reactors so Holy works the way she originally intended. The other timeline could be the Lifestream or an alternate timeline which is based on memory. Cloud is able to exist in both places at once, since he is stuck in both the Lifestream and a part of Zack's memories intermingled and therefore able transfer the memories to create the world or imagining of the Lifestream that Zack falls into, when they split destiny at the end of remake the weak part of Cloud's mind could believe he failed against Sephiroth at the end of remake and the part of Cloud that is confident in the concousness he created splits the narrative further to split as he would believe he failed in his weakened life stream counterpart and shaping what Zack is seeing Midgar's current state which isn't what Midgar should be like at that point if Zack returns there, plate fall party dead etc. It's very confusing and I'm not explaining it well at all. Cloud's weaker counterpart may remember the Beagle as a terrier as Barret mentions that Shinra took stamp and turned it into a militarised simble for Shinra... Perhaps, this is hard to. Explain what I mean and I'm doing an appalling job of it. What I think has happened is Aerith broke the timeline by great gospelling Zack early. Cloud's consciousness is technically able to exist in both places. The fact Marlene and characters from remake and the original are present is because Cloud has those memories, their consciousnesses are intermingled with a failed version of the destiny breaking. We know Aerith did something to Marlene and Red hinting she knew way more than she was letting on hence knowing about Marlene and Sector 7 before she should have and Cloud being a Merc. Yet knew she'd have to risk that and did so sacrificing her memories of the past and splitting the timinelines for good. I have so many theories. I originally thought that is Sephirpth has knowledge of everything and the past. As such he needs to off Tifa not Aerith as he would know her presence in the Lifestream is what fucks his plan up... Kind of. Whereas, Tifa is the only one that will be able to restore Cloud to Cloud Stife not Cloud Fair. Hence him trying to manipulate Cloud against trusting her entirely and believing she's a Jenova mimic. I think the game should end at the North Crater not the forgotten city. In the timeline that Cloud is unconscious in if Aerith gives Cloud the White materia to Cloud in the Zack timeline he could bring it to Sephirpth instead of the Black posing as a puppet but having learned the knowledge earlier would be able to trust in Aerith and just take that to the North Crater and let it do it's thing. So, we would get Cloud handing off the White Materia opposed to giving the Black to the Rebirthed Sephiroth since he recrates his body in the Northern Crater. Perhaps that is too far fetched. I don't know how far they will push it. It's so hard to predict where this will go. I think Aerith will die in the timeline that we are in, but she will survive the forgotten Capital only to be killed off at the North Crater in part 3 which is where she was originally supposed to die, returning to Zack and explaining it is just the Lifestream they are in. I think when we saw Zack burst into the Church at the end of Intermission we were seeing a timeline of the end of Advent children of what would happen had Aerith lived as they originally reunited there and walked out the back of the church into the white side of the Lifestream as the split made everything fucked which is why Aerith has to break destiny because the preordained path with Cloud in the Lifestream with Zack could LEAD to. Zack trying to fix Cloud which would make him a Sephirpth Clone as only Tifa can do this. I am not explaining this well at all. I give up! 😂

Haha, I think Aerith has always pushed for Cloud and Tifa because she knew something wasn't right to some extent. I think it was always to make Tifa act faster. What I mean by Cloud... Is if you haven't played the original you wouldn't get this, but I assume you have. If yes, you will know most of the original of Cloud Strife's mind is stuck in the Lifestream and basically his consciousness is split in two that's probably an overstatement and as such it is plausible for him exist in both of these the real world and lifestream at the same time. If Zack is in the Lifestream the reason why it is manifesting the way it is, could be because of Cloud's memories shaping the Lifestream around Zack's to some degree. Or just by the sheer fact he is in the Lifestream being present to a degree as it has been shown to form off the memories of the dead within it, and people who have survived falling in and lived their consciousness shaping how it manifests a la Cloud and Tifa in his restoration of his mind. When they split destiny at the end of Remake, Cloud's confident part of his consciousness would know they won out in the Sephirpth fight thus we continue down that path. Whereas the version of Cloud that's stuck, completely weak, unsure of himself and is essentially lost, would have all the memories of what occurred, but likely feeling he failed. Creating the Midgar that Zack is seeing. Hence the characters Zack has never met appearing (Zack has never met Elmyra or Marlene) when Zack arrives in Midgar the Sector 1 bombing mission wouldn't even have occurred by that point. Especially not to the point of Secotr 7 Plate fall and bike chase, as he arrived the same time Cloud would... Probably faster. So, it basically stands to reason that the reason Midgar is the way it is in Zack's 'universe' is either because of Cloud's condition with the Jenova Cells and Mako Poisoning forming the memories of what would have happened had that the group failed and died in the escape and since he's just an unconious husk its probabable the Lifestream still works in the present just not in Zack's perspective as Zack has no memories to of Midgar's present state. If it were two separate timeslines why would one jump forward? Cloud would be able to exist in both places at once if one is the Lifestream... I don't think there are two timeslines but that's just me as it makes the Buster Sword a paradox. As I said if that were the case the bombings, Avalanche attacking HQ, Plate fall and Bike chase wouldn't have occurred by the time Zack arrived in Midgar, he would have arrived waaay before Avalanche even carried out their first mission which may or may not nave been successful without Cloud. Events would have played out ENTIRELY differently. So, the reason Midgar is looking like this is due to Cloud probably think he failed and all the party died due to him, as for Biggs's existence people speak of him at the leaf house in remake and he was known in that area as such it is quite someone he knew or likely cared for maybe one of the children who died in the train graveyard memories would enable him to continue to exist as the Lifestream just forms on memories or he is just present and aware of his own presence in the Lifestream but it is odd that his version wouldn't be shaped by Cloud's perspective although both because more people knew Biggs in that area those memories take priority. The two timeslines makes no sense given the giant time leap forwards. If that wasn't the case I'd believe that there were. The random mentioning of Biggs being named in Sector 5 always stuck out as weird. Now I believe this is the reason why.
Aerith with her hair down, talking to Cloud is definitely a vision or dream. *She wore that materia in her hair with her hairband, which is removed upon a certain event happening* So it seems like she spoke with Cloud in a dream after that event took place.
I'm getting "book-end" vibes. The game opens with you playing as Cloud and Seph. I think the game will end with the party fighting AGAINST Cloud and Seph.
You know what would be insane? That once Sephiroth has complete control over Cloud, the AI-controlled Cloud has the exact same skill set and habits the player controlling Cloud had throughout the game? Just imagine your strategy against Cloud and Sephiroth will be unique to how you played Cloud throughout the game: meaning Sephiroth could use Cloud's weapon materia, his ATB abilities, Limit Breaks, etc.

Its interesting to draw parallels to Zacks last stand since this version of cloud has lost Zack in a showdown against a large number of shinra infantrymen. When juxtaposed to a weakened cloud from zacks last stand, you see a empowered Cloud (maybe through Sephiroths influence as shown by his mannerisms in this scene) being able to murder all those infantrymen (with the blood on his face), with Tifa being next. Just a shower thought. 😮

Have to disagree, Dyne sounds great. The emotion, rage, anguish, self loathing the VA has portrayed based on the trailers so far is incredible. I’m highly looking forward to this section of FFVII: REbirth.
Hmm basically the player will make choices through out the game that will effect the narrative of events, in one scenario he plays the game and the events of the game will play out as they did in the original game, however if other choices are made you crossover into a different timeline where the new version of events takes place. It will be up to the player what he chooses to do. The events of the new timeline are already starting to merge into the main timeline because of the defeat of the whispers, now it will will be choices made by the player to make potential changes in the plot become actual changes or not. Depending on how you play the game will determine what set of events takes place. This means different players will have different experiences of the story progresses. however this doesn’t mean that the out come at the end will be different but maybe they will.
If Zack "steals" her, why would they show her like this? This makes it look like he finds her at this location/like this. Seems possible Shinra discovers Zack has survived and uses Aerith to track and capture him. And if there's a connection between Zack and Sephiroth's timing outside the church with Aerith and Cloud's inside, does Sephiroth WANT Aerith to give Cloud the white materia (figuring Zack would disrupt that handoff)?
I think that the sleeping characters in the Zack world are the ones whose fate have been altered with in the other world and changes in one shift their sleep state in the other.

I’ll take that under advisement. Sleepezi and I are very good friends irl so sometimes this happens with us. I am showing him this immediately, as almost always HE is the one who gets attacked for interrupting me lol. But you’re right, I was kind of rushing him through this one because we had some time constraints. I’ll be better next time. This is just 90 minutes of about 6 hours of conversations we had too… we had alot going on lol. I also usually wouldn’t post a stream like this but I just had an influx of requests for this stream in particular.

i think for what it's worth the only time Cid was ever really a dick was when he was talking to his poor assistant he blamed everything on. Otherwise he was just kind of a slightly gruff dude. I don't really like the hillbilly accent for him, but I guess that's what square thought was right for him
Awesome breakdown as always! Regarding the hooded guy, I really doubt it's Glenn. I used to be in the Glenn camp before this final trailer dropped, but with Rufus' reaction it really doesn't seem like it's him. I'm kinda leaning towards it being Verdot or something.

It’s implied that he hasn’t been promoted because he doesn’t follow orders. For example, decimating Shinra infantry in order to help/fight Cloud in part 1.
What if cloud, becomes a boss against the whole party this time around. And that’s why we can’t play as him the 2nd time around?
That's almost certain to happen with the way the story is progressing.

underwater, airship, up to several missing regions, cid and vincent, triple attacks, eikon-level fights but with the party, potential of multiple parties with separate stories, a twisted world to reflect Meteor approach more starkly, all remaining summons and then some, deeper dungeon areas (Rebirth seems to focus more on overworld), maybe features like 'crisis points' to respond to emergencies, etc.
I didn't realise they were at the Forgotten Capital with the One-Winged Sephiroth until you paused it, I thought it was another Crossroads area like Remake xD

(I have explained parts of this theory slightly better in the comment bellow) I have a theory that the reason why the timelines or a version of the Lifestream comprised of memories are now fucked is because the first time Zack died, Aerith wasn't aware of Zack's death, because of the Jenova cells not allowing him to return to the Lifestream. However, at the end of Crisis Core she uses Great Gospel which helps Zack's soul return to the Lifestream because we know it can heal Geostigma and cleanse people of Jenova cells. So, he's either stuck in the Lifestream where Aerith was meant to eventually be reunited with him which we see at the end of Advent Children, we know the Lifestream is comprised of all the knowledge and memories of people that have died there, and or alive within it. As Zack returning to the Lifestream has now happened before the end of Advent Children aka faster. Which if we remember at the end of FF7 the original we see Aerith in the exact same position opening her eyes in front of the mako pipe from the beginning potentially with renewed knowledge of what will play out. So, she breaks it to save Midgar. She's probably scared of the sky because she doesn't want to see that all the plates get ripped off, and Midgar end up destroyed as Holy did the opposite of it's intended stopping of meteor; allowing Midgar to be destroyed because it was the biggest threat to the planet at that point and or she knows using Great Gospel on Zack caused a whole mess. At the end of the game Aerith rallies the Lifestream. I think she intentionally is pushing Tifa and Cloud to recall their love for one another so Tifa can heal his mind faster which I think we'll see her flirt with Cloud more to make Tifa act faster. We've seen him throw her in the Lifestream or her fall in or whatever, he then screams and probably jumps in to save her. Starting that process earlier. The Aerith that appears to Cloud in chapter 14 and tells him what he feels for her isn't real she knows he's emulating Zack. So, she's pushing harder for Tifa to admit her feelings before the Mideel incident... Maybe just an idea. If Aerith can get the party to power down Midgar in the return to Midgar section which is presumably going to happen as it did in the original in Part 3 with this renewed knowledge and the party knowing they will shut down need to shut off all of Midgar's reactors so Holy works the way she originally intended. The other timeline could be the Lifestream or an alternate timeline which is based on memory. Cloud is able to exist in both places at once, since he is stuck in both the Lifestream and a part of Zack's memories intermingled and therefore able transfer the memories to create the world or imagining of the Lifestream that Zack falls into, when they split destiny at the end of remake the weak part of Cloud's mind could believe he failed against Sephiroth at the end of remake and the part of Cloud that is confident in the concousness he created splits the narrative further to split as he would believe he failed in his weakened life stream counterpart and shaping what Zack is seeing Midgar's current state which isn't what Midgar should be like at that point if Zack returns there, plate fall party dead etc. It's very confusing and I'm not explaining it well at all. Cloud's weaker counterpart may remember the Beagle as a terrier as Barret mentions that Shinra took stamp and turned it into a militarised simble for Shinra... Perhaps, this is hard to. Explain what I mean and I'm doing an appalling job of it. What I think has happened is Aerith broke the timeline by great gospelling Zack early. Cloud's consciousness is technically able to exist in both places. The fact Marlene and characters from remake and the original are present is because Cloud has those memories, their consciousnesses are intermingled with a failed version of the destiny breaking. We know Aerith did something to Marlene and Red hinting she knew way more than she was letting on hence knowing about Marlene and Sector 7 before she should have and Cloud being a Merc. Yet knew she'd have to risk that and did so sacrificing her memories of the past and splitting the timinelines for good. I have so many theories. I originally thought that is Sephirpth has knowledge of everything and the past. As such he needs to off Tifa not Aerith as he would know her presence in the Lifestream is what fucks his plan up... Kind of. Whereas, Tifa is the only one that will be able to restore Cloud to Cloud Stife not Cloud Fair. Hence him trying to manipulate Cloud against trusting her entirely and believing she's a Jenova mimic. I think the game should end at the North Crater not the forgotten city. In the timeline that Cloud is unconscious in if Aerith gives Cloud the White materia to Cloud in the Zack timeline he could bring it to Sephirpth instead of the Black posing as a puppet but having learned the knowledge earlier would be able to trust in Aerith and just take that to the North Crater and let it do it's thing. So, we would get Cloud handing off the White Materia opposed to giving the Black to the Rebirthed Sephiroth since he recrates his body in the Northern Crater. Perhaps that is too far fetched. I don't know how far they will push it. It's so hard to predict where this will go. I think Aerith will die in the timeline that we are in, but she will survive the forgotten Capital only to be killed off at the North Crater in part 3 which is where she was originally supposed to die, returning to Zack and explaining it is just the Lifestream they are in. I think when we saw Zack burst into the Church at the end of Intermission we were seeing a timeline of the end of Advent children of what would happen had Aerith lived as they originally reunited there and walked out the back of the church into the white side of the Lifestream as the split made everything fucked which is why Aerith has to break destiny because the preordained path with Cloud in the Lifestream with Zack could LEAD to. Zack trying to fix Cloud which would make him a Sephirpth Clone as only Tifa can do this. I am not explaining this well at all. I give up! 😂

Haha, I think Aerith has always pushed for Cloud and Tifa because she knew something wasn't right to some extent. I think it was always to make Tifa act faster. What I mean by Cloud... Is if you haven't played the original you wouldn't get this, but I assume you have. If yes, you will know most of the original of Cloud Strife's mind is stuck in the Lifestream and basically his consciousness is split in two that's probably an overstatement and as such it is plausible for him exist in both of these the real world and lifestream at the same time. If Zack is in the Lifestream the reason why it is manifesting the way it is, could be because of Cloud's memories shaping the Lifestream around Zack's to some degree. Or just by the sheer fact he is in the Lifestream being present to a degree as it has been shown to form off the memories of the dead within it, and people who have survived falling in and lived their consciousness shaping how it manifests a la Cloud and Tifa in his restoration of his mind.
When they split destiny at the end of Remake, Cloud's confident part of his consciousness would know they won out in the Sephirpth fight thus we continue down that path. Whereas the version of Cloud that's stuck, completely weak, unsure of himself and is essentially lost, would have all the memories of what occurred, but likely feeling he failed. Creating the Midgar that Zack is seeing. Hence the characters Zack has never met appearing (Zack has never met Elmyra or Marlene) when Zack arrives in Midgar the Sector 1 bombing mission wouldn't even have occurred by that point. Especially not to the point of Secotr 7 Plate fall and bike chase, as he arrived the same time Cloud would... Probably faster. So, it basically stands to reason that the reason Midgar is the way it is in Zack's 'universe' is either because of Cloud's condition with the Jenova Cells and Mako Poisoning forming the memories of what would have happened had that the group failed and died in the escape and since he's just an unconious husk its probabable the Lifestream still works in the present just not in Zack's perspective as Zack has no memories to of Midgar's present state. If it were two separate timeslines why would one jump forward? Cloud would be able to exist in both places at once if one is the Lifestream... I don't think there are two timeslines but that's just me as it makes the Buster Sword a paradox. As I said if that were the case the bombings, Avalanche attacking HQ, Plate fall and Bike chase wouldn't have occurred by the time Zack arrived in Midgar, he would have arrived waaay before Avalanche even carried out their first mission which may or may not nave been successful without Cloud. Events would have played out ENTIRELY differently. So, the reason Midgar is looking like this is due to Cloud probably think he failed and all the party died due to him, as for Biggs's existence people speak of him at the leaf house in remake and he was known in that area as such it is quite someone he knew or likely cared for maybe one of the children who died in the train graveyard memories would enable him to continue to exist as the Lifestream just forms on memories or he is just present and aware of his own presence in the Lifestream but it is odd that his version wouldn't be shaped by Cloud's perspective although both because more people knew Biggs in that area those memories take priority. The two timeslines makes no sense given the giant time leap forwards. If that wasn't the case I'd believe that there were. The random mentioning of Biggs being named in Sector 5 always stuck out as weird. Now I believe this is the reason why.
Aerith with her hair down, talking to Cloud is definitely a vision or dream. *She wore that materia in her hair with her hairband, which is removed upon a certain event happening* So it seems like she spoke with Cloud in a dream after that event took place.
the thing is she is also giving him the materia so it would make sense for her hair to be down regardless of that *event*… v mysterioussss

I'm getting "book-end" vibes. The game opens with you playing as Cloud and Seph. I think the game will end with the party fighting AGAINST Cloud and Seph.
You know what would be insane? That once Sephiroth has complete control over Cloud, the AI-controlled Cloud has the exact same skill set and habits the player controlling Cloud had throughout the game? Just imagine your strategy against Cloud and Sephiroth will be unique to how you played Cloud throughout the game: meaning Sephiroth could use Cloud's weapon materia, his ATB abilities, Limit Breaks, etc.

Its interesting to draw parallels to Zacks last stand since this version of cloud has lost Zack in a showdown against a large number of shinra infantrymen. When juxtaposed to a weakened cloud from zacks last stand, you see a empowered Cloud (maybe through Sephiroths influence as shown by his mannerisms in this scene) being able to murder all those infantrymen (with the blood on his face), with Tifa being next. Just a shower thought. 😮

Have to disagree, Dyne sounds great. The emotion, rage, anguish, self loathing the VA has portrayed based on the trailers so far is incredible. I’m highly looking forward to this section of FFVII: REbirth.
Hmm basically the player will make choices through out the game that will effect the narrative of events, in one scenario he plays the game and the events of the game will play out as they did in the original game, however if other choices are made you crossover into a different timeline where the new version of events takes place. It will be up to the player what he chooses to do. The events of the new timeline are already starting to merge into the main timeline because of the defeat of the whispers, now it will will be choices made by the player to make potential changes in the plot become actual changes or not. Depending on how you play the game will determine what set of events takes place. This means different players will have different experiences of the story progresses. however this doesn’t mean that the out come at the end will be different but maybe they will.

If Zack "steals" her, why would they show her like this? This makes it look like he finds her at this location/like this. Seems possible Shinra discovers Zack has survived and uses Aerith to track and capture him. And if there's a connection between Zack and Sephiroth's timing outside the church with Aerith and Cloud's inside, does Sephiroth WANT Aerith to give Cloud the white materia (figuring Zack would disrupt that handoff)?
I think that the sleeping characters in the Zack world are the ones whose fate have been altered with in the other world and changes in one shift their sleep state in the other.

I’ll take that under advisement. Sleepezi and I are very good friends irl so sometimes this happens with us. I am showing him this immediately, as almost always HE is the one who gets attacked for interrupting me lol. But you’re right, I was kind of rushing him through this one because we had some time constraints. I’ll be better next time. This is just 90 minutes of about 6 hours of conversations we had too… we had alot going on lol. I also usually wouldn’t post a stream like this but I just had an influx of requests for this stream in particular.
