I've watched many walking challenges, but yours come at the top of the pile; attention to detail; no shaky shots or dodgy audio. Well done Paul, a great experience all round - the thing is, what’s next, I'm thinking of the Cleveland way. Happy walking.
Thank you David. Believe me, there are plenty of shaky shots, thankfully I’m not live and can remove them all during editing 🤣 I am thinking of the Devon C2C, maybe the WHW later in the year. Let me know what you think of the Cleveland Way.
@@pilgrimpaul7798 The C2C looks very interesting, but for me in my late 70's, camping is a distant memory and B and Bs are a bit thin on the ground, but I look forward to seeing your progress if you deside to go ahead. I'v not done the WHW, I used paths on the east coast on my travels to the top; again I look forward to your exploits in the west. Enjoy
Amazing effort Paul to complete and thank you so much for creating all of these daily episodes which are so brilliantly done - I have been really looking forward to the next one and will miss that now it's all over. It is a fantastic feeling that last bit along the beach in Studland knowing that all the difficult stuff is behind you, so you can just enjoy the stroll in the beautiful weather and reflect on what you've accomplished. Also a sad day because it's all over but I imagine you now have a passion for life and are already contemplating what's to come. I hope, whatever it is, you'll share it with us. I look forward to it.
Thank you for all your messages on the videos. I’m glad you have enjoyed them. It all feels like it was over too quickly, which is an odd thing to say considering it was 630 miles and took 3 years. I am busy planning my next walk so will be back out with the camera soon.
Congratulations Paul on completing such a long walk. Such a huge achievement. It must be overwhelming to have completed the entire length from start to finish. You have done well to keep filming it all too and to produce such entertaining and informative videos. Day 46 certainly looked arduous in the wind and rain. We were a bit late watching the final two days as we were on holiday but great to come back to. Extremely Well Done You!!😃👏👏🥇
Hi both, hope you had a good holiday. It was a very strange feeling as I walked along Studland Bay. I tried to portray how I was feeling in the video but it was hard to put it into words. Day 46 was so tough but is now a great memory and stands out when looking back on the entire journey. I will be back out walking another trail soon.
Congratulations Paul, absolutely amazing achievement! I’ve watched every one and I’ve enjoyed every bit!! it’s something I’m thinking of doing. Cant wait to see what’s next, keep on walking👍🏼👍🏼🥇
Congratulations on completing this wonderful path. I am currently as far as Starcross and understand your emotions on finishing. Your journey has not just helped me along the way with information but also inspiration. Hopeful that others watch and may walk all or even just some of the path and enjoy the amazing things it has to offer. Enjoyed all your posts and will look forward to more I’m sure.
Thank you Steven. You will be at Studland Bay before you know it. As you know the path is the most incredible experience. If people watch any of these videos and it helps them to get out and try a section that would be great. I’ll be back out walking soon.
Well done Paul, will miss your cheery videos even when you are being battered by the elements. My wife has nicknames you the Happy Man, so when you have uploaded I just say Happy Man had a new video and she knows it’s you!

Congratulations. Have followed your journey and this has brought back many childhood holiday memories. Will be taking this trip on at some point and your videos will be by guide. Well done again😊
Congratulations 👏👏👏 Your channel helped give me the confidence to tackle to SWCP.👍 I completed it on 7th August as a single thru-hike over 67 days. I’ve set my sights on Offa’s Dyke in 2025 and I swore never to return to the SWCP, but it’s beginning to call to me to do it again and leverage everything I learnt this year 🤣🤣🤣

Yes I know that feeling mate! I did St Cuthberts Way last week and felt like that at the end of days 2 and 3, funnily enough that finishes on the ‘Pilgrim’ path to Holy island 😀👍
Congratulations Paul. This came out on the eve of our annual two week excursion to Cornwall to do a bit more of the path. I think we might just finish all the Cornish section this time ( we did sections at random and kept a map of what we've done). We've thoroughly enjoyed your SWCP series and look forward to watching wherever you walk next. I hope you prove me wrong but I think you'll have a difficult task to top this one. Will you do a follow up video or two about the path... like a Q&A and what your favourite parts were, which bits you'd like to do again, etc?
Thank you. I hope you are enjoying your next section. I remember being sad to have finished Cornwall. I have wondered about doing a follow up video, maybe also talking about what was in my bag etc. Perhaps a 30 minute video showing my highlights from the entire path.
@@pilgrimpaul7798 Well, we didn't finish it. Bit more than I thought still to do. Not disappointed though as we don't want it to end. I have to take my hat off to you for what you did. To be carrying all that equipment over 15-20 miles each day on a coastal path, and then to film a lot of it too. Well done.
