There weren't any plot twists. He was two steps ahead of his opponent. He was just letting him cook. The best duel from him I think is in a tourna against charlie.

Vrains had an episode about two plebs and in their opening hands they both completely bricked. Episode 27, it's pretty funny and a good one off, watch it sometime.
When the game was over 5 rounds ago and oyu just don't know it. I love how Sam teaches Syk the game and goes along with the shenanigans

I disagree, modern yugioh is still fun to see, watching a synchro climb into an accel synchro summon, or even something like a modern zombie combo string is really type, especially when the opponent has that 1 holdout card to let them pop off themselves next turn

How does a modern Yu-gi-Oh Game looks like? Turn One: Player a Combo's for 20 Minutes, building a Board full with Negates. Turn 2: Player b can play through all the Disruption or not and the game is finished on turn 3 or 4. Most duels i experienced had 2 Turns. Otherwise, there are this decks, playing more on the opponents turn, then the opponent. Fun.
@@Arikel1349 only the top tier decks that are trying to be meta, but the mid tier like silver/gold players that are just vibin with modern mechanics, not nearly as stacked and even then, watching a combo pop off will always be entertaining, especially when it comes after a board wipe or a nice counter at the apex of a duel

@@Arikel1349 i mean those people are probably on their way up i mean ppl who cap out in those mid tiers my guy, obviously (especially early in the season) youre gonna see some meta decks in low and mid ranks but those people are usually on their way out of that tier pretty soon

Sykkuno is true king of games, even though I saw his hand and knew his cylinder was on the field saw him hover it choose mirror force. He says I don't have magic cylinder. I was like ok have a nice day. Completely trusting him and forgetting about what I saw for myself.
When he played it at the end I felt like I was a villain in the anime.

I was offended on Yugi’s behalf when he said that Sykkuno needed to bring Atem out. Last I checked, Yugi defeated Atem in their duel, being one of the very very few to do so.
I don't get it, why did Sykkuno use mirror force instead of magic cylinder? He could have just ended the duel right there if he had activated magic cylinder.

there is something very funny to me about anime decks. They act like they are amazing at the game in the anime, yet they could be beaten by the average 9-year-old.
